Finally got to complete the childhood dream of going to Disneyland. Got to feel like a kid with no worries in the world again. 😊 Sleeping Beauty Castle is always beautiful but it is especially magical during Christmas time ElecTRONica is a nighttime outdoor dance party at Disney California Adventure. Adult beverages are available, and you can play old school video games at the adjacent Flynn's Arcade. Fun! Fun ride, great views of Disney California Adventure. Standing at Paradise Park, looking over Paradise Bay at Mickey's Fun Wheel Peek-a-boo view of Mickey's Fun Wheel from the pool at the Grand Californian. Find your laughin' place at Splash Mountain and you'll be sure to have a zip-a-dee-doo-dah day! The pool at the Disneyland Hotel features two monorail-style water slides and a tribute to the original Disneyland sign. Very fun! On a hot Southern California day, head straight to the two spray areas in A Bug's Life at California Adventure. Love this giant leaky faucet! Way to go Boston! More neon in Radiator Springs. Go on Thursday's to get samples on UnCask Thursdays! Great presentation, food and a classy and fun atmosphere! (That's the old people mover platform in silhouette.) Turndown service at the Grand Californian comes with special treats. Trader Sam's tiki bar is a great place to grab a drink and some light food at the Disneyland Hotel. The bartenders are fun and there are some surprises for guests as well.... Upstairs at Carthay Circle. Food and service live up to it's reputation. Be sure to make a reservation. A little bit off the beaten path this is a great place to find some relief from crowds and have some fun. Go down the Rabbit Hole and through the Looking Glass to the Mad T Party at Disney California Adventure. Dancing, drinks, live music...you never know who might show up! It may not be very big compared to Cinderellas castle at Disneyworld but it sure is a pleasure to see. Impossible to not take photos of palm trees when in California. If your near the Anaheim Convention Center, this grove of palms is the perfect Insta shot. Christmas Eve at Disney Waited patiently for everyone to get out of my shot! Worth the wait. California Screaming..a few minutes later I was all the way over by the bakery and ice cream store, I could still hear the screams I highly recommend the fireworks show.. not just fireworks, there's a narrative and music the whole time. If you get closer to the castle than this you might get a better look at Tinkerbell flying around during the show Smoky morning.

With its exclusive entrance into Disney's California Adventure® Park, this hotel doesn't really need to offer additional recreation options—but it does, and in grand style. The full-service Mandara Spa includes a large fitness room, saunas, and steam rooms. The focus for families, however, is on the extensive outdoor pool area, which includes three themed swimming pools. The Fountain Pool is a quiet lap pool; the Mickey Mouse Pool is a children's pool shaped like the beloved mouse himself; and the Redwood Pool is a large pool complete with a twisting, 100-foot-long redwood slide.

There are also two spa tubs and an arcade. The resort is equipped with a hydraulic lift to assist guests with disabilities into the spa tubs and swimming pool.
