Everything you need at budget-friendly price

Pros: Breakfast, the price point, and the staff were excellent. Parking was even free at the hotel which you do not find in California!
Cons: Breakfast variety would be great.
I enjoyed my time at La Quinta. The staff were excellent being very kind, hospitable, and friendly. The breakfast doesn't have much variety, but hey...most hotels don't even have breakfast, especially not at this price. I was very pleased with the kitchenette in my room and the room service I received daily. Perhaps one thing I did not like was that the rooms are outdoor. I always feel safer in a hotel were the rooms are inside a building because they are not as accessible. Also, due the rooms being outdoor it was rather loud some days between airplanes, cars, and people yelling.

Comfortable stay

Pros: location, hot breakfast
Cons: TV a bit always from the bedroom
Location: freeway, dining
Comfortable room. Glad we had sofa as we had our 4 yr. old grandson with us and it worked out great. Good location to freeway, dining. Glad for the hot meal esp. with grandson with us.

Good Deal for the Price

Nice rooms, nice staff. Hotel rates are always one of the lowest in the area. Convenient to Anaheim, Disney area for much less than staying directly in that vicinity.

Smelly rooms

We got 2 different rooms. One smelled of cigarette smoke, and the other smelled like vomit in the bathroom.

Hotel in a very quiet place

From having free airport shuttle to very helpful staff I knew my stay was going to be great and I was definitely right. The suite was extremely comfortable and the amenities were fantastic. Highly recommend this hotel!

Good Hotel for the price

Pros: Nice room, comfy bed and lots of space.
Cons: Thicker walls and better lost and found process.
Location: Fairly close to the John Wayne SNA Airport. Close to food and down the road from South Coast Plaza.
It was a very nice hotel and we loved that check-out was at noon. I docked two points for two different reasons. The first was that we could hear when the room next to us turned on their shower and it was a bit of a distraction. Also, I left my jacket in the closet of our room, which is of course my fault. But when I went back later that day, the said they never found it, even when they sent someone to search the room. So just make sure you don't leave anything behind because my experience was that you will never see it again.
