Very disappointing experience

My family had 4 rooms at this hotel with many small issues and on really scary one. The scary issue was that in my sister's family's room, they found a hypodermic needle under the mattress. Other small issues included very dirty coffee pot, dirty ice bucket, no coffee pot in one of the rooms and it was never replaced, sink stopper got stuck, lumpy floors, cheap carpet squares, to name a few. Although we arrived after check in time, around 3:30, we had to wait 40 minutes for our room because cleaning staff was running way behind. The staff was nice enough, although didn't always seem to know what they were doing. When we complained about all the issues, we did receive a very small discount for our troubles. For a missing or dirty coffee pot, it was fair, but for finding a drug syringe, it should have been a whole lot more. Very disappointed in the compensation. I will never, never, never stay here again, and will think twice about any Quality Inn.
