Wish I could have brought the bed home with me!

Pros: Location is terrific, close to freeways and the beach.
Location: Close to Balboa Island, Roger's Gardens and shopping at Fashion Island. South Coast Plaza and the Segerstom Center are just nearby as well.
The hotel is undergoing some renovations in the lobby, but that did nothing to make this stay anything less than wonderful. The room was big, the beds were incredibly comfortable and the balconies an added plus - we watched some squirrels play in the planter from our viewpoint. Had a little of the noise from the airport, but it was fun to watch the planes take off and land. We're planning to be back in the area in December and hope to stay here again.

Nice Hotel

Pros: Easy to find, nice room, friendly staff.
Cons: Would like to have been offered the breakfast coupons.
Location: Literally right next to the airport, close to a popular mall, Pacific Coast Highway is just down the road a ways.
Stopped here while on a motorcycle trip. Hotel is right next to John Wayne Airport. It's also undergoing renovation so parts of it were closed. Dining takes place in the lounge. I was charged a $50 "incidentals" fee. Breakfast was $18/person even though there was mention of coupons. They weren't offered to us. Also, the hotel website mentions shuttle service to a local mall. That isn't exactly accurate as we were unable to use it due to limited availability. Wait staff were friendly and professional, room was clean and comfortable. Being next to the airport was not an issue.

Broken water temperature

Not too sure if it was because of reconstruction or what, but taking a shower was an art. Water handle was broken. Temperature was either too cold or too hot.

Mattresses way to soft / mushy

Even though the front desk tried to accommodate our soft mattress problem to all four of us. The following night ; night club and parking lot across the street. Music way to loud and terrible music till 2:00 am. Woke us all up at 11:30pm. Will never stay or recommend this Radisson. For 200 plus dollars a night I would of been better off in a budget motel. Very sad!

Bad experience

After searching long hours for a last minuet hotel. We stumbled upon the Radisson. Images on the hotel looked nice, but upon arrival was nothing what I pictured. At check in the front desk lady was nice and helpful. Going into the room we had a dirty room. Trash bins full beds undone small cramped area. Bathrooms on website display were not what they were when I got mine. When asked they said that was there suite. Overall this would be my first and last stay at this hotel.

Pros: comfort.
Location: A stone's throw away from John Wayne airport.
Place is undergoing some remodeling. Room was clean and comfortable. Minor glitches, very minor. The powerstrip embedded in the desk wasn't working, but the hotel staff was super responsive and quick to provide a new powerstrip. I'm happy with how I was treated.

Loud airport noise and construction made our stay a disappointment. We went to relax at the pool only to hear noise the whole time. I would wait until it's done to go here. We should have been warned before booking.

Too Close to the Airport

Pros: Hotel very clean and rooms were quite nice.
Hotel is under renovations and the entire sitting area was blocked off. In the pool area was very loud with hotel construction combined with planes landing every few minutes.
