Room not cleaned in a 4 day stay. Overflowing waste baskets. Had a cheap coffee maker but 1 packet of decaf. No regular coffee. The staff did respond pretty quickly to bringing coffee packets and more towels. But the no cleaning is a deal breaker. The bathroom door did not close properly. The toilet paper holders were worn out and did not allow the paper rolls to spin freely.

We couldn’t sleep the last two nights we stayed because the pipes in the walls were banging an clinking so loud it kept us up all night an the front desk didn’t seem to care or offer us a refund so we won’t be back. Maybe once but two nights in a row an we switched rooms an after two nights no sleep a falling on def ears we decided to take our business els-ware. Thanks Alexander

I came back to this property because I spent a long weekend here in January and loved it. This time, however, I was awakened 5-6 times by other guests slamming doors and shouting all night long. I know this isn’t the fault of the hotel, but the room I was in this time had little to no sound proofing at all. I could hear the people above me walking and the neighboring room when they were talking. Location was great. I’d recommend requesting a room closer to the office, though.

Management is horrible and doesn’t care about their guests. It was very unsafe. There were people on bikes that came from the street going through cars and making alarms go off.

If you’re looking for a place to sleep, this will fit your standard. Nothing fancy, just a bed and shower. They won’t clean your room daily unless you ask. No water fountain nearby so bring your own water.

Staff that clean the rooms and service the property are very nice. On a side note this is the second room in a row where the pipes banging inside the walls have kept us up 2 nights in a row. The front desk didn’t seem like they cared that we didn’t sleep two nights in a row so we will be staying somewhere we can actually get some sleep.

The property appears to be POORLY maintained. Loose wallpaper, bathroom door broken, tub and tile grout, a three-year-old must have done.

The blanket/bedspread was paper thin. Felt like a sheet, with no extras in the room. No bottled water. Crappy, old tv with terrible picture quality. Disappointed.

I noticed that the room could have been in better condition, and it didn't feel quite as clean as I would have liked. Unfortunately, the safebox in the room wasn't functioning properly, and it took a day for it to be fixed. Additionally, there was a strong smell of smoke outside the rooms that was unpleasant.

Rooms were okay, but had a mildew like smell not only in the room, but also in the lobby. The toilet in room was the height used in pre-schools, so very low to the ground. We heard people talking in the room next door through the walls until 2:30 am.

This is the second time we have stayed here. This experience was much better than the last one although we don't have much to complain about from the last time. We had a king suite this time. It was week layed out and spacious. The hotel is about 10 minutes away from the Newport Beach pier.

We were surprised about how dated the property was inside and out. It was quiet, except for Saturday night parking lot yelling and slamming doors at various times. The beds were very comfortable. We found the toilets to be tiny and low, like you'd find in a kindergarten classroom almost. It would be very difficult for someone with knee or hip issues to get up. There are no safety bars either. They really need to update the bathroom facilities and include safety bars. We will look elsewhere next trip.

For what it was it was ok though it reminded me of old party hotels on Daytona beach. Pool was nice but overall was unimpressed with the upkeep. A number of items in our queen room were in disrepair. No exhaust vent in bathroom, and no microwave.

Clean bed .. clean room .. nice and quiet for this time of year .. a lot of people complain about this hotel .. is is more then likely them being inexperienced in travel .. you need towels ask for them .. if your room need service ask for it .. staff is very friendly and will be Hapoy to accommodate you .. let’s make the world a better place people and stop complaining about things common sense can take care of .. thanks for the pleasant two week stay in beautiful California ❤️😎🙏

Our stay was good, except we stayed on the second floor, third floor guests above us were disrespectful, loud and rude both nights during our stay. We heard everything going on above us, quite annoying and frustrating.
