A nice hotel near DisneylandPosted Sep 27, 2015
Pros: I like the friendly staff, the bed was nice and firm, the decor of the room, and the cleanliness of the overall hotel.
Cons: I wish the room had a refrigerator. I need it to keep my daughter's milk cold but there wasn't one. That would be a nice addition to the room.
Location: Disneyland is near by which is a 10 min walk and Disney Downtown District. There is plenty to do all day.
I wanted to take my daughter to Disneyland for her 2nd birthday. I didn't want to have to drive all the way home at night, so I decided to book a hotel nearby Disneyland and found Red Lion hotel on Expedia. It was affordable and looked really nice on the website. When I checked in the lady at the front desk was pleasant, friendly, and efficient. The room was nice and clean but not that big. The decor was nice and pretty modern. The bed was nice and firm and we were well rested after a long adventurous day at Disneyland by midnight. The next day we checked out and I realized I forgot our souvenir pictures on the dresser. I had to call the front desk and ask them to keep it for me and I will pick it up in the afternoon, which I did. We had a nice experience staying at the hotel and wouldn't mind staying here again in the future.

Perfect location when all park hotels are fullPosted Sep 27, 2015
Pros: Location, location, location 2 blocks from Disneyland!
Cons: Breakfast is good but I could recommend hot tea, waffle or pancake makers.
Location: Disneyland, California Adventure, restaurants and shopping all within walking distance.
Room had everything you need. You can purchase Disney tickets at the front desk. A few unexpected goodies like organic bathroom amenities...just wish they sold them!

Great hotel walking distance from DisneylandPosted Sep 27, 2015
Pros: Modern, very clean. Convenient to Disneyland! Only 15 min walk. Great linen!
Cons: Pillows are a little odd (square and small). The hotel offers a shuttle service to Disneyland for a fee of $5 per person- why charge?
Location: Disneyland just 3 blocks away (about a 15 min walk).
Great hotel with modern amenities (e.g. Kuerig coffee maker in your room). Comfortable beds with great linen. Easy check in process. Would definitely stay here again!

Manageable walk to Disneyland- disappointing hotelPosted Sep 26, 2015
Within reasonable walking distance to Disneyland. SMALL room. Breakfast was eatable though not exactly DELICIOUS or appetizing. There was a hair ball on our floor when we got in. A peanut in the bathroom floor that was there when we checked and 2 nights stay - never picked up from cleaning staff. Facility is poorly kept up - sloppy painting job, outdated decor.

PLEASANT STAYPosted Sep 24, 2015
Pros: location, friendly staff, awesome air conditioner in the room
Location: Close to Disneyland and dining options
I booked the hotel based on the positive reviews and not the negative reviews. The hotel was sufficient for our needs...which was a clean place to stay and close to Disneyland. As stated in previous reviews...the hotel could use some upgrades, however it sure didn't spoil our stay. Our room had 2 queen beds and we had no issues with the mattress at all...in fact it was comfortable for us. The room had a mini fridge, microwave, a Kuerig coffee maker and a safe. Ice machine was right down the hall. They do charge $15 per day to park, but the parking is extremely convenient and is easily accessed. The time to walk to Disneyland varied based on the cross walk lights, but the longest it took us at a very easy pace was 20 minutes from the hotel entrance to the entrance to the parks. We stocked up on bottled water at the CVS pharmacy right across the street from the hotel and took it back to our room and stocked the fridge. We carried hydra flask water bottles to the park each day filled with ice and water and carried extra bottles in our back pack. You will run out of water at the park, and it will cost you $2.99 plus tax for water. Overall a very enjoyable trip and we had a pleasant experience with the hotel.

Nice hotel close to DisneylandPosted Sep 21, 2015
Pros: Outdoor and pool side service.
Cons: Maintenance of minor deficiencies should be carried out prior to rental of the rooms.
Location: Location was okay but distance to Disneyland could be an issue for the elderly or families with very small kids.
Had to wait for our room even though we were booking in well after the scheduled 3:00 pm time frame. Seal at bottom of the entrance door did not function so first night was very noisy. Next morning manager advised seal was damaged and could not be fixed in the time frame we were there. To resolve he recommended we pack towels along bottom and he would have them delivered to the room. We did not receive said towel, so we corrected ourselves. Pool was nice, happy hour (4 to 6) was good. Distance to Disneyland was a 15 to 20 minute walk.
