Very Close to Perfect

Our first impression was great. We had an easy check-in, found a parking space pretty easily and liked our room right off the bat. Fireplace, Full kitchen, private bedroom. It was perfect. It wasn't until later we started noticing the flaws. Taking a shower was literally painful for me, because I kept bumping my head on the shower head, which was about eye-level for me, so I had to hunch the entire time. When we went out to dinner and came back, our close parking space was gone and we had to drive around for a while and park at the other end of the property and hike back to our room. I was hoping for a free shuttle to Disney, but learned it was $5/person/day which for our group added up to a wash comparing against Disney's own parking fee. Overall, though, our impression remained positive. With just a few minor renovations, this place could be so much better. I have seen angled shower head extensions which raise the shower head about a foot higher at some hotels, and this place could benefit from that type of minor renovation. I would eliminate the 15min check-in parking spots, since everyone just parks in the round-about anyway, and check-in doesn't hardly take but two minutes. You gain a couple full-time parking spots that way.
