BEWARE!!! Does not live up to the Sheraton name!

My girlfriend & I stayed at the Sheraton Garden Grove for the 2nd time in a 1 year period. Our first experience was not extremely positive and the GM asked to give them the opportunity to improve our experience. We gave them a 2nd chance, however, this property fell short once again. There was many issues directly related to negligence to the maintenance of this property. The elevator had at least 5 cracked tiles that were sharp to the touch with guests coming up in bare feet from the pool. The sound from the elevator was loud enough you couldn't hear the person speak next to you and made many guests uneasy. The room itself was clean and in fairly good repair but the linens were partially soiled and the towels in the bathroom were frayed. There was unacceptable noise coming from the hallway as my girlfriend and I were placed next to 4 groups of teenagers from a convention. This could have been resolved easily by front desk staff with some pre-planning. Wi-Fi worked only sometimes for the hotel. The parking lot was full one evening and many guests were forced to park in a dirt lot behind a wall not visible from the hotel. The night manager was apologetic and "took notes" so that parking would be deducted from my bill. Upon checkout, no notes could be found and the desk agent was incredibly unprofessional at handling the situation. Parking eventually was off my invoice but I wont be back. The Sheraton Park Hotel nearby is amazing, I recommend staying there.
