Full kitchen in room, older appliances and overall room style. Pull out couch was ok for my guests for 1 night but struggled to close it. Room very clean but older caulking ang grout. None of this was very bothersome or even necessarily downfalls. The one problem, they do have VERY pushy timeshare program. They have just spent $5 million dollars building new rooms and while that’s awesome and I’m sure they’re gorgeous, I️ was just not interested in seeing them or purchasing one. I’ve seen other resorts where I️ would purchase for their location, price, amenities and community over brand new at a mediocre community. Slept and showered there, after all I️ go to Aruba to enjoy their weather and nature, not sit in a room.

The hotel was clean, I was advised to book An upgraded room. Glad I did, beautiful kitchen, bathroom comfortable bed. Erica is awesome, she is at the front desk. Casino is a disgrace! Don't bother going in there. There is a bar, restaurant & casino in One. Its like a garage. Go to glitz casino at the la cabana. The pools are ok. Don't walk to grocery store at night - the path is dangerous.

i have read some bad reviews on tropicana but our stay was great the room was very clean the grounds were kept very nice the staff were very friendly i have not a bad thing to say about tropicana

Nice hotel but not on beach

Require going through another hotel property and cross road to access beach Hotel very clean

You do not have to get through the other hotel to get to beach, we tell our guests to go through because it is shorter. Our guests may go around the other property. We hope to see you real soon.

Don't stay at the Tropicana, I would give it a 0 .

Pros: Nothing , their is nothing to do, no place to eat except for a place that was in the hot sun. There were maybe 10 people at the pool each day.
Cons: It will bankrupt soon like it was year ago. So the changed the name to Tropicana , and it's still a dump. They only have a small crew working there.
Location: Location is a joke, the beach is so far away it was impossible for me to walk there. Every day I walked to La Cabana, and stayed the whole day.
Why didn't you tell me this place was under construction. Their running a bait and switch scam. I asked for a room near the elevator so I didn't have to walk far. The room they gave me was on the top floor the next to the last room. I had hip surgery and I went To Aruba to rest for a week. I've been going to Aruba for 33years. I am a owner of a beautiful place on the beach. There was nothing available, they have been sold out for at least 20 years. They were so rude to me when I asked for a refurbished room they said I have a standard room. The were Quick to show me the web site but it doesn't say there is construction going on or a standard room is the original room that was built 22 years ago, But a extra $50.00 a night they could put me in a new room. That's what we call bait and switch, just trying to get more money out of me. I had to walk to La Cabana to use there free computer, and I e-mailed you twice and told you what was happening. You sent me a e-mail back and said you would look into it. That was 6 days ago, never heard from you. I asked for a room near the elevator, they saw I using a cane. What I got was a old room with stained furniture, a bathroom with no cabinets and a broken faucet and cracked tiles in every room. The noise so bad I walked every day back and forth to spend the day at La Cabana. After the first day nobody talked to me. I was there to rest and all I did was walk from place to place. I lost 2 days out of my 7day vacation. It was awful.

We are extremely puzzled by your harsh comment about the resort, and are very contradictory to what are all our guests are saying. We have two pools on the property, both are often full of people. Our rooms among some of the best on the island. Our resort is currently going through renovation, which is clearly stated on all our advertisements. The non renovated rooms are priced at a very competitive rate. Do not hesitate to contact us prior to your next booking because we are certain your impression is a miscalculation.

Worth what I paid

The hotel was nice but they are in the process of fixing it up,the Wi-Fi was no good they wanted you to pay extra to have it in your room no way ,the grounds were beautiful the staff was very friendly , too much pitching on timeshares didn’t come there to be hassled To buy a timeshare

Good stay this year we had a bad experience in 2016 and they made up for it in 2017 upgraded us to a great room. Well come next year as long as we get the same room and treatment

very nice and steps from the beach

Location: everything was close. the beach ,great places to eat
it was a great trip. hotel was close to the beach and had 2 great pools. hotel room was very clean even as they undergo renovation which will make it much nicer

All was great, comfortable. Needs a proper restaurant attached to hotel. Staff were pleasant and informative. Would recommend again
