“Nice clean and cozy room. Bed was very comfortable and hardwood floors, which is key. Room is small, not a lot of extra space for two people to splay out, but it was what we needed for a short stay. Microwave and mini fridge in the room which is always nice to have. Staff was very friendly when we were checking in.”

“The reviews we read had us worried, but our experience was wonderful. We had a beautiful room right at the water’s edge and enjoyed swimming in the pool. Although the washing machines could use some updating, we were able to wash everything we needed on-site. The staff was kind, but be aware that if you arrive after hours, you will need to find your room on your own. We had no trouble because the maps were clear and the directions made sense. However, other reviewers are correct when they warn……

“We had a wonderful stay at the Deer Harbor Inn lodge and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Orcas Island. The rooms were comfortable, clean and cozy! Perfect after a jam-packed day of hosting activities for our friends, from Deer Harbor marina to Eastsound, and ending with the best brisket ever at Matthews Smokehouse just across from the lodge. We enjoyed peaceful, quiet evenings and fresh air through open windows all night. Very convenient location when arriving by ferry and……

“It was pretty quiet even though our room was right next to the elevator. The neighborhood feels safe, nice, and clean. It’s conveniently close to grocery stores and restaurants, and not too far from the state park. The only thing I didn’t like was the breakfast—two of the containers were empty with nothing much to eat, and no one came to refill them. So we went out for breakfast nearby. ”
