"I’m so glad I didn’t listen to the negative reviews and kept our reservation here. I was very skeptical and nervous at first. We stayed for 5 nights and here’s my take on the experience:
PROS
-check in was pretty quick for a Friday night
-room was easy to get to and parking was close, every time we left and came back (pretty much every day)
-nice size for myself and my 3 kids
-water park is fun, diverse, and geared towards the kids (with a little bar for parents ready to relax)
-we had the 2 bedroom king suite, which also included a pull out couch (if your kids are anything like mine and need space from each other every other day, this will work perfect)
CONS
-THE HIDDEN FEES I booked on Expedia and knew there would be an extra resort fee and parking fee, but when I got there, they also taxed those fees and charged a $200 deposit fee on top of all of that.
-I wanted to have the room serviced with new towels and sheets one of the days we were there, and they did take out the trash and bring new towels, however the sheets were not changed (they just made the king bed but no new sheets and did not make up the bunks)
-you could tell some people were smoking weed in the rooms (it woke me up one night) and I have nothing against marijuana, but when you smoke it in small spaces occupied by others, I think it’s rude and inconsiderate and it stinks.
Overall experience was great and I would stay here again. Staff was friendly and checked in via text daily. "
