Don't stay here!

Pros: The room was a good size.
Cons: Poor service and attention to detail.
We had seen the reviews and the resort looked nice from the pictures and description so we chose Allure, but this can be deceiving. First, when we arrived at the hotel, the reception clerk became angry and raised her voice and repeated instructions in an angry manner when I asked for directions to the room despite me asking politely for her to repeat the directions. That was our welcome! The bathroom had no bath mat. There was a small bar of soap at the sink but no bar of soap or complimentary toiletries for use in the shower. There was a liquid dispenser on the shower wall for dial soap and an equal quality shampoo. We used the regular coffee (2 -1 cup servings) the first day and this was not refilled. One of the two elevators was non-functional for our entire stay (3 weekdays, 2 nights). The "free breakfast" was of the continental type served at a small hut with what I believe was a quite limited selection (I saw people leaving the area with toast, small pastries, and coffee or juice). It had a few tables and chairs surrounding it none of which were in a covered area which I could see. I'm not sure what most of the people were to do to eat their food or if it were raining while you stood in line outside the hut. It reminded me of a welfare line. So, annoyed and dissatisfied with this, we went to the hotel restaurant to eat. It was inexpensive, the seats were comfortable, and the clerks were friendly and helpful. The food there was not particularly good though.

I got what I paid for

Pros: Location was convenient.
Cons: Smell of the room. The room smelled damp.
Location: There are plenty of attractions and things to do close by.
The facility is dated but was relatively clean and quiet. The room furnishings, with the exception of the TV, microwave and fridge are long in the tooth. The staff was not rude and in many instances helpful though it took 3 requests to have my bath towels replenished. If I paid their advertised "full price", I would have felt ripped off. This is not a "resort".

Room was dirty, elevator dirty, pool was unusable.

I had a bad experience, overall the hotel was dirty; staff was nice however.

Not what it's cracked up to be.

Cons: Just about everything.
Staff wasn't helpful, place wasn't clean, people sleeping in the hallways, breakfast buffet was inedible, towels felt like sandpaper, I can go on forever.

What could happen next???

Room looked nice , pool ok, lobby ok. Beds were old , had a sleep number remote but didn't work. Asked for blanket n towels, never delivered. Restaurant in hotel was just for a quick bite. , not good . Then it happened!!! We were stuck in elevator for 25-30 minutes. Very scary . We prayed n kept ringing the bells. A lot of tears !! When doors opened guy said , you ok?? crazy!!We then asked for manager n changed room to ground floor . We managed to have a great trip and got over it . Thank you God..

Worst Experience Ever

Pros: Not one single thing.
Cons: Every aspect of the hotel. Guest Service, Ops, Communication....Everything.
Location: Right across street from Ferris Wheel on International Drive.
Management is the absolute worst!!! I arrived at 4pm on Friday, April 7th (my 30th Birthday) and was ready to check in. I waited in a lengthy line of what seemed like very angry people. When I got to the counter, I was told Expedia cancelled my reservation, which ended up being a complete lie. They claimed it was Expedias fault as they overbooked them and there was nothing they can do (mind you this was after a $50 Uber ride from the airport and a 9 hour flight). They were as unfriendly and unforgiving as anyone I've ever worked with - and I spent years as a front desk agent in Vegas so I know how it goes. Expedia called them to figure it out and the manager hung up on her! Then I listed to that same manager tell a customer, who had the same thing happen to him, to 'get the hell out of her face.' The worst part is, every single customer I saw who got beligerant and was screaming in the lobby ended up with a room. I'm not that kind of person - but it's unfortunate to see that this property rewards their behavior while telling us more reasonable people to hit the road. I have never hated a place this much and that manager was the worst I've ever, ever seen. Expedia should remove them from their site and refuse to sell their rooms.

Amazing hotel

Loved my room and the view. The tiki bar at pool not really a tiki bar nor a very great Continental breakfast by the way at the tiki bar. Tiki bar was never really open we were excited to be at pool and drink but bar was always closed. Starbucks inside hotel machines didn't work couldn't have coffee. Over all the room and staff was awesome

When we check in the frontdesk was so mean no customer service she is suck . The elavator was dirty all the time ...
