Good location with decent price

Posted Feb 4, 2016
Pros: Spacious rooms
Cons: Deeper cleaning
Location: Old Town within walking distance
Only stayed here 1 night after being at the beach for a few days. This was a nice location with good price closer to the Orlando airport. Heated pool and hot tub were a nice touch as was the in room laundry facilities. We had a 1 bedroom suite and it was very spacious. On the surface it looked clean and appealing just don't look to close. Bed was average, ceiling fan in bedroom didn't work. Location to Old Town was within walking distance which was good because the traffic in the area is beyond busy! Overall was on ok place to stay for a couple nights if needed.

Budget family friendly

Posted Jan 31, 2016
Pros: The staff.
Cons: The rooms need to be thoroughly cleaned and exterminated. Patch the screens on the lanai, replace light bulbs fix faucets.
Location: The location is near everything Orlando has to offer. Traffic can be heavy. It can get loud at night.
The staff is very friendly. We stayed in a one bedroom suite with full kitchen, dining living room area. The kitchen was furnished with basic dishes, cookware and utensils. It's a great convenience to be able to relax in your room for breakfast. The carpet needed to be better cleaned and there were bugs seen in the bathroom and kitchen sinks at night. Keep your food covered or in the fridge. The hotel is located directly across from old town where they have arcades and bungee jumping and a car show every Friday night. It can be very loud if you are trying to sleep before 10:00 or if you have small kids.

Super nice suite, the only qualm was the ice maker in the freezer didn't work. Walking distance to Old Town and a half mile to the super large indoor flea market. Get your Florida, Disney souvenirs here, much much cheaper and some of the same items you would see at the theme parks. Would stay here again in a heart beat. It has its own kitchen so you can cook your own meals if you want to. I like that they had tv's in each of the two bedrooms, saves on arguing who watches what!

Wonderfully roomy and pleasant accommodations

Posted Jan 25, 2016
Pros: Very roomy and comfortable. NIce pool area. Pleasantly decorated throughout.
Cons: TVs were hung very strangely. They are not really centered. The cleaning crew should be better about wiping the appliances between guests
Location: Close to Disney and many restaurants.
I stayed in a 2 bedroom/2 bath with a friend of mine. It was so wonderfully roomy with a full kitchen. There was so much space and it had a screened in balcony. The beds were just fine as well. It seemed like the pillows should be replaced, however. There were a couple of lamps that were not working as well, and it is a mystery as to what a few of the wall switches operate. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and it is a quick drive to Disney. I would definitely stay here again.

Expected much better based on previous ratings

Posted Jan 21, 2016
Pros: very large suite fully equipped ( even washer and dryer in room).
Cons: cleanliness and service
Location: Good location close to parks, restaurants, shopping, etc...
One bed had dirty sheets, dishwasher leaking water, spa turns on by itself, alarm clock not working, room not clean as it should be, carpet several stains.

Location: A short drive from all of the Disney parks and right next to Old Town (where you can jump off of really high things for fun).
I visit Orlando often and The Barefoot Suites is one of the better hotels I have ever stayed in. My husband and I enjoyed the one bedroom suite and would return in the future. Pros: aesthetically pleasing and spacious suite, large screened in patio, washer/dryer in unit, ceiling fans, TV in the bedroom, comfortable bed, gated access, wonderful and clean pools and hot tub, large bathroom, very quiet, no fee for parking, low resort fee Cons: tried to sell us a time share (albeit politely), sofa wasn't very relaxing

Okay hotel close to Disney

Posted Oct 11, 2015
Pros: Pool was nice and close to Disney.
Cons: More shuttle options
We had a few issues while there. One, the walls were very thin so when people next door were talking it sounded like they were in our room's entry area. Secondly, they advertise they provide shuttles to Disney. They do but they are very limited. They only provide one option per day to each park. The shuttle to Magic Kingdom didn't pick you up until after 11. I was very disappointed as the MAIN reason i picked this location was that it provided a free shuttle. We had to drive ourselves to the park each day which we didn't want to do. Lastly, I tried to get additional bathroom towels as we only had 3 bathroom towels. They wouldn't provide any additional towels and said we were to wash our towels in the provided washer and dryer in our room. I'd rather not wash towels while on vacation.
