I appreciated the shuttle to Universal and that the breakfast was included. It was helpful to be near a Walgreens. It was overall fine, except that the second night there I encountered a huge cockroach in the bathroom at 2am. I didn’t love that.

The location to Universal and Sea world is great, but thats where it ends. While the staff that we interacted with was great, the hotel had major issues. The hotel shares its parking with 2 extremely busy restaurants, a burger king and another hotel. If you arrive after 7pm you may find it hard to locate a spot to park in. They dont have designted hotel parking for their guests. The prices for our stay were inflated because of spring break. Upon arrival we checked in and were promptly greeted. We got to our room which appeared to be clean, but smelled old and musky. The bathroom celing was peeling and had paint partially hanging off. The ceiling above the tub was the worse as you can tell they've had numerous leaks. The breakfast that was provided was a joke. You can tell the owner is finding the bottom of the barrel products to serve. I try not to be picky, but it was bad. The area wasnt clean and they dont have adequate seating for the amount of hotel guests. The hotel is very old. I only booked this based on other reviews on expedia and im honestly not sure if their reviews were real based upon my experience. Everyone in our room had sinus issues after staing in the room for 2 nights. Not sure what caused it other than it just had a musky smell. My wife always sprays disinfectant throughout the room prior to us touchkng anything and that normally helps, but not in this hotel. After being gone for less that 24hrs and all of us have cleared up and feel better.

The property is showing it's age furniture is old but functional small television. Strangest shower knob ive ever encountered, but tgey do have instructions on the wall. Believe me you will need them. Beds were comfortable room was clean. Continental breakfast included was good. Great stay at tge $190.00 price point. Staff was courteous and helpful

Gecko crawling across the bed and ants in bathroom and rooms. Staff said geckos come in thru windows but you can see outside around air conditioner so probably many ways to get in. Seen three rooms and all were dirty

The microwave and the yogurt machine were both broken in the dining area. The kept running out of food and we (and other guests) had to keep asking them to refill the food. They came to service our room and they made the bed and took the trash, but didn't give clean towels, refill the soap, or give more toilet paper.

Check in guy was friendly. We had one sleeping on the couch, went to open that and the sheets had not been changed. Housekeeping was right there in the hallway and changed them quickly. Hallway smelt funky and had heavy duty driers for the carpets. Stuff was on the floor so not sure it was swept/vacuumed. Breakfast wasn't bad but it was cold even though we went down at 7 when it starts. Beds were comfy and everyone working was friendly.

The floor i was on had a horrible smell like a mildew musty smell, it actually made me gag. Luckily i had perfume and that helped a little bit. The tile floors in the bathroom are a little skeevy. The fridge in the room made a loud buzzing noise so that got unplugged. Its definitely a little dated and time for an uplift.

The location of the hotel is great, walkable to Universal and Shoppings. Shuttle to Universal was good. Most staff were nice and helpful. Breakfast was on the same menu for 8 days. Room keys became ineffective almost every day. There were some little bugs in the washroom. Our toilet clogged once in the evening, the front desk asked us to get a tool from him and unclog the toilet by ourselves. We did. The toilet clogged again the next day. Another staff changed our room. The cleaning staff was good for the first 6 days. On the 7th day, new cleaning staff did not clean the room until we came back from the park and asked for room service. There were no towels that day until we asked for towels.

The location and setting were not preferred . Bathroom floors were filthy . The hotel was worn and in need of many repairs . First room we went to , toilet broken and we had to move again. Second room was neater but bathroom door was water damaged and needed to be replaced . Hotel breakfast was not what I expected and a disappointment . The staff was so kind and accommodating , I really appreciated them . I will not stay at best western ever again , feel like they’ve no longer have any standards. Sad

The hotel is old. And it shows. The carpet in the rooms need to changed or removed all together. Nasty. Drab rooms and battered furniture. Beds don't fit atop the box spring and were very uncomfortable. Toilet in our room wobbled, scary. tub needed updating and was very slippery. Thank goodness for the grab bar. The freezer in the fridge defrosted on its own and flooded out the fridge as the 'drip tray' over flowed. For the price charged it was NOT a good deal. Breatkfast was ok. Sausage was fine. Eggs were salty and a bit watery. Oranges had mold. Staff was friendly. Parking is bad. Being so close to so many restaurants etc. the parking was crazy. Glad we were just sleeping at the hotel and not counting on the amenities. Oh and yes, we found a roach in the little closet. They are a part of living in FL but I don't want to see them in my hotel or bring them home with me.

Nice hotel, got panhandled upon arrival
Rooms were very clean. Breakfast was good and the staff very nice. Only issue we had was there was a man in the parking lot in a Ruth Chris uniform panhandling for money and actually wanting someone to follow him over to a nearby hotel to pay his outstanding bill- gave a big sob story- did not appreciate that he approached my 20 year old daughter when she was alone and getting out of her car- fortunately, I was waiting for her and walked up to make him leave.

My room smelled horrible, mold and flood stains on the ceiling, TV remote did not work, all drawers broken, shower mixer broken, mold and fungus in the shower, carpet was so dirty, it was sticking to the shoes, AC extremally loud and inefficient, very high humidity in the room

Pick another hotel. This one is very dated, which we could live with if it was clean. Most things in the hotel appeared older and grimy. The breakfast area was dirty and the breakfast was very poor and unappealing. The only positives were the location and the bed was decent, if you like a firm mattress.
