The Beautiful day in downtown Orlando! I love going to the farmers market on Sundays at Lake Eola. If they haven't already, Orlando's city council should vote the swan as the official bird of Orlando. There are swans larger than pit bulls everywhere you step around Lake Eola. Mind your step… maybe they should rename it The Incredible Hulk steel roller coaster was voted the #1 roller coaster by Discovery Channel viewers in 1999, the roller coaster uses a launch lift hill as opposed to conventional chain lifts. This means you get an acceleration to 40 mph in approximately two seconds before speeding through several inversions!
When the Hulk opened, it featured the world's tallest cobra roll at 110 feet ! Be sure and go right after a big heavy lunch.

A family affair.
#Green Lake Eola in downtown Orlando Florida has a nice walking path around it which is about 1 mile long. The temperature here is just about perfect for most people this time of year. Kraken...
The lengthy floorless coaster includes a 119-feet-tall vertical loop, a diving loop, a cobra roll, a zero gravity roll and some G-force-inducing turns, which more than make up for its dull setting. Don’t forget to check out the eels that live in tanks underneath the ride, which represent the Kraken’s offspring. #KidsFun Day 31 - Park life in Downtown Orlando.

You won't leave this sweet shop without a chocolate frog or pumpkin juice. Located only in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
#SweetSpot Islands of Adventure is a great theme park, made even better by the addition of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Just the ride in Hogwarts Castle is worth several rides alone! Then there's the butterbeer, the owlery mail room, and so much more! Oh, and the rest of Islands is pretty great too! There are some pretty cool faux vintage signs throughout the park. It a pretty photogenic place ! Take a day to stroll through the gardens. Plenty of wildlife and beautiful scenery. Lake Eola Park, Orlando
#desktop #Orlando is more than mouse ears. #orlandosecrets #therealorlando #thecitybeautiful Downtown Orlando's Lake Eola Park is the city's most iconic spot – a favorite of photographers of all levels. #orlando #lakeeola #bestof5 Nice contrast between large buildings and palm trees in nature here in Orlando This was such a good park to walk around, lots of birds to see like Ibis, swans, ducks, herons and this little guy, a spotted woodpecker.
You can also buy food for the birds at 25 cents (it's good fun to see the Ibis birds and Squirrels chase each other over the food) or hire out a paddle boat. We saw this bird on her nest at Lake Eola park. We were told by locals that she lost her eggs to other animals but has been sitting on her nest still for days. Lake Eola. Take in the magnificent sculptures along the shore and beautiful views of the city. I've never witnessed such outpouring of love and embrace of the LGBT community here in Orlando before this week's tragedy. While capturing photos of downtown in the wake of the tragic shooting at Pulse nightclub, my partner and I were stopped numerous times by people who wanted to give us hugs, talk to us, pray for us or to just make sure we were OK. Words can't express the heartfelt gratitude. #orlandostrong #bestof5 One of my fave parks #TroveOnTuesday The Simpsons part of Universal. Pretty .85mi walk around the lake. Watch out for the swans, they're pretty but mean. Lake Eola Park is a beautiful section of downtown Orlando.
