disappointed from day #1

Cons: Train employees, filter the pools, the pool filter by buildings 1 & 2 were turned off at night. When we swam in it there were clumps of hair floating.
On the day of our check in, we were greeted by the staff with "We cant find your reservation". 10 minutes later and 2 staff members looking in the computer for us, we were found. Upon arriving to our floor we noticed that the hallways were very dirty. The same debris was not cleaned for 2 days, until I spoke with the director of operations. Then I was told "we have some very rowdy kids here for the 4th of July," but why would the same filth lay in the floor for 2 days?? That night as we were getting our beds ready, we noticed blood on the comforter and there were no sheets for the pull out bed. I took the comforter to the front desk and asked for another one. Over an hour and 3 phone calls to the front desk later, which was after midnight, an employee arrived with a thin green blanket and sheets for the pull out bed. We were told that the comforters were locked up by the housekeeping department and all they had access to were these thin blankets. 3 days later we learn that instead of putting the security deposit on hold as stated they put the amount of the room on hold after we had already paid for it in full when we arrived. It is no fun being over 600 miles away from home and having that amount of money tied up by a hotel. I then took time away from my family to go to the office and spend another 30 minutes with them on the phone to my bank so they could authorize the release of their hold on the money. No one needs to go through this stress when they are on vacation!!

The hotel was great. It had a lot of things to do on sight for the whole family! Tiki bar has a great happy hour. All in all it was a very nice establishment.

Disney World stay

They need new pillows. they were very lumpy and uncomfortable to sleep on. The air conditioner is under the window and blows directly n you when you sleep. You couldn't turn it off or the room would get to hot.

Make sure they don't put you in a handicap room like they did me other than that it would have been a good place to stay

Everything in a separate building. Breakfast is another building, gym in another building, arcade in another building. It's insane. And the breakfast is powdered eggs and prefrozen sausage every single day. Not a fan. Would not stay here again. There was a dead bug on the counter in the bathroom when we got there and one of the sheets had a dried nasty looking stain on it.

Called for extra towels and was denied because housekeeping was gone for the night. Called back the next morning and housekeeping had not arrived yet. The room was not very clean.

Disney stay

Hotel was definitely worth what we paid. Our only complaint was that the shower had not been cleaned properly when we arrived. The room was a little dated but comfortable and the hotel itself is in a great location being only 10 minutes from Disney and minutes from many restaurants and gift shops. Shuttle service to and from the theme parks was also very convenient.
