Decent hotel but the staff made it special.

Posted Feb 9, 2016
Pros: Convenient, I like Disney hotels for the simple reason everything is looked after from airport arrival to departure.
Cons: The room was a little noisy, not a lot of sound barrier.
Location: My daughter and I spent 8 days in late Jan/ early Feb entirely at Walt Disney World, visiting all 4 theme parks, Blizzard Beach and Disney Springs.
Nice hotel but seemed to miss some of the Disney extras such as mickey shaped towels on bed or special little extras in the room we had experienced at other previous Disney hotels. The hotel was comfortable enough but the staff made the hotel, they were all very friendly and were more than willing to go above and beyond to do anything to help make the trip special.

Economical Option for a Disney Stay

Posted Feb 8, 2016
Pros: The hotel staff was very helpful and pleasant. The room was small but sufficient and clean.
Location: This hotel was convenient to all of the Disney parks and attractions. It was helpful to have bus service to all Disney attractions.
Our family, of 3, were comfortable at this hotel. We were looking for a Disney Resort that would not break our budget and found it at this All Star Resort.

寝るだけならコスパが最高なホテル

Posted Feb 6, 2016

No frills, but fine for a value resort.

Pros: Advantage of Magic Band, and friendly staff.
Cons: The food court needs a greater choice of food, and a more organised system to purchase it so that it is not cold by the time you come to eat it.
Location: It's on Disney property, and there is easy access to all the local attractions.
This is Disney's budget end of the market so expect a rather tired but nevertheless comfortable and clean room. It is more motel than hotel. The staff are very friendly and staying here gives you the advantage of arriving by Disney's Magical Express service from OIA if you don't want to drive. Then you can also use the bus transportation system to access all parks. Be aware though that at busy periods you might have to queue for a long time and this will be in the blazing heat without shade. You then may have to stand all the way to the parks as those busses will be crammed to the brim! There is an advantage to staying onsite as you receive the 'magic band,' enabling you to book fast passes earlier than others staying offsite and if you are driving parking at the parks is free. This system can be glitchy though as after entering my room twice on the third time my band wouldn't work and I had to hike back to the reception to have it re set. This is a vast resort and if your are placed in a building at the far end then expect to have a fair walk to reach the busses and food court. Don't expect a vast choice of food at the food court. The worst part is that sometimes by the time you receive your food, line up to pay and finally sit down the food is cold. The food court was always clean though and it seemed large enough that finding a table was never a problem. The main swimming pool is lovely and sometimes there is daily entertainment by the Disney staff for children.

You get what you pay for.

Ok, so honestly, I didn't put much stock into the room this trip. I figured I'd go for one of the cheapest resorts with the Disney Brand, because its worth it to stay at one if you are there for the parks. I'll give you the bad news first: 1.) they put us in bldg 6, which is one of the country music ones and its about a 5 to 7 minute walk; that may not sound like much, but after traveling all day or walking around all day at pne of the parks, it can make you feel overwhelmed. 2.) Resort has no hot tub at either pool and the pool closes at 9pm. So there really is no reason to pack a bathing suit. 3.) The concierge desk clerk who sold us our park tickets, neglected to help us set up our fast pass selections when we bought them. A subsequent trip to the desk on day 2 fixed that, but it would have been nice if they made sure we knew what we were doing and how it worked at the time that we bought it. 4.) The food court prices are insane. $34 for a bottle of water, a bottle of coke and two slices of pizza. My sticker shock was insane. The pros: 1. lower price and it was reasonable (paid about $250 for three nights) 2. Simplified billing process as everything could be charged to the magic (wrist) band, eliminating the need to carry credit cards, purse or much cash. 3. Free airport shuttle, free shuttle to parks and onsite baggage check and boarding pass availability. 4. Everyone was helpful and friendly. 5. You dont spend much time in the room anyway.

moderate hotel room with the Disney touch

Posted Jan 31, 2016
Pros: The feeling of security, customer service and early and after hours to parks and free parking. Very efficient check in and out.
Cons: Distance from rooms to food court and bus stop for transportation to parks, improve food variety , length of me on bus
Location: too far away from anything that you could walk to. Need a car if you want food that is not at hotel.
A small moderate class hotel room but with the Disney amenities, clean, efficient with transportation to parks. Positive is the feeling of security, customer service and early and after hours to parks and free parking. Negative: food court limited, food basic, the length of time to get to and from parks by bus and the distance from hotel buildings to hotel lobby, food court and bus stop!
