nice garden style hotelPosted Nov 8, 2015
The grounds and rooms are very well maintained. The bar tenders in the piano bar can be friendly- or not the same can be said of the staff in the food court. Some workers barely cracked a smile. The bar tender at the pool bar was super friendly. Location is great with a walking trail. Wings are awesome from the piano lounge food in the food court can be mediocre depending what you get

not the experience I hoped for.Posted Nov 7, 2015
I'm used to staying at the Beach Club or Wilderness Lodge and this hotel did not live up to my expectations for a Disney Experience. It felt like I was staying at a Best Western and next time if I can't get into my favs, I will stay outside the park for less money. The room was far from the lobby/concierge, there were limited dining options and if you needed to leave a park for a break, it was a bit too far to go. For me the whole part of staying within the park is for convenience and this was far from.

Perfect mid-price Disney holidayPosted Oct 30, 2015
Our of all of the hotels Port Orleans French Quarter is by far our favouite. Not too many rooms, large pool, rooms are a good size, lots of greenery and open space, busses to the parks are never too busy, riverboat to Disney Springs - there are so many plus points. Looking forward to going again....

great locationPosted Oct 25, 2015
Pros: see above
great location for Disney Parks (free shuttle), Universal (taxi 25 mins $35) and Sea World (taxi 15 mins $25) Hotel clean and friendly. Quiet despite the number of guests and children (old and young). 7 blocks of 144 rooms on 3 levels. restaurant open from 6am to midnight. Food plain but good and reasonably priced. don't expect large helpings like some US establishments. staff are very friendly hotel grounds are nice and tranquil with a riverside walk for joggers and plenty of smoking areas. I have stayed here 7 times. 10 out of 10

Lovely HotelPosted Oct 24, 2015
Pros: For not being in the park, and only a short bus ride away, this location was wonderful.
Cons: Put tea bags along with coffee in the room.
Location: The lobby was a short walk from our building, as was the cafeteria. The bus stop was just outside the main entrance so getting to the parks was easy.
We were only staying three nights and chose this hotel b/c we've been in New Orleans and thought this could replicate our stay while visiting the parks. It was well located to the lobby and cafeteria and easily accessible by stairway or elevator. The room was large and the bathroom was even larger and well lighted. There was a fridge, but no small freezer to store ice packs for muscle soreness, and no microwave. There was a double-brewing coffee maker but no tea option, only coffee. There also weren't desk or table lamps.(I like extra light for my make-up even though I bring a lighted mirror.) Each full sized bed had sconces on the wall. There was one full length mirror on the wall and the bathroom had a large over-the-sink mirror. These are just my observations and didn't detract from our visit. All in all, a very comfortable stay and everyone was extremely helpful and friendly.

Easy to get aroundPosted Oct 23, 2015
Pros: All hotel amenities were within easy walking distance and staff were friendly and professional.
Cons: Could add a sit-down, order-from-the-menu restaurant.
Prior stay at a Disney "value" resort and wanted to upgrade this trip. This hotel was fine, but not worth the difference in what we paid. I would definitely stick with one of the "family value" resorts for the money.

Nice to stayPosted Oct 19, 2015
Pros: Clean room and theater at night in the hotel area.
Cons: Restaurant is not special, so upgrade it for further visitors.
Location: When going downtown, use shuttle instead of boat. I stayed French Quarter, middle of Riverside and Downtown, it means difficult to take the boat.
Concierges are really helpful and really kind when I asked several things even if with poor English.

Nice accomidationsPosted Oct 8, 2015
Pros: Room was nice. Water taxi was a plus if you want to vist Disney Springs.
Cons: Not enough food choices in the court.
Location: Close to Disney springs. Transportation provided to all Disney parks.
Room was very nice. I have stayed at other Disney resorts and found the food court and other amenities lacking.
