Nice location to universal studios...

The front desk staff at the hotel made the place... It was just an average hotel... nothing horrible but nothing amazing... It's just a place to lay your head

Great location!

The air conditioning was to close to our bed that it was a challenge to pass using this side. In addition it was leaking in the floor and the carpet was always wet. I think that because of that I got a cold the second day of my vacations!. The mattress was not confortable. I used to wake up with a backache. The breakfast only includes coffee, orange juice and muffin.

Not so great...

The room was not the cleanest. It reeked of old cigars (supposedly a smoke free room). Never saw housekeeping. Kitchen area was grungy. The bathroom had one small light for whole room and felt more like a cave than a bathroom. Overall, it just did not meet my expectations.

Extended stay America SUCKS

The room was dirty. Crumbs in cabinets. No clean towels unless you go to desk and ask. No cleaning service. No dishes to use in the kitchen. Horrible hotel for the price.

Great stay

Hubby and I enjoyed our stay in a queen bed, nonsmoking, view over the pool. Clean, no complaints at all.

Rooms were nice and clean. I imagine at one time, they may have been smoker friendly, as the aroma of cigarettes still lingers in the carpet. The staff was professional and friendly.

VERY close to Universal Studios!

Pros: Hotel staff on front desk VERY NICE and welcoming!
Cons: The only disappointment was "breakfast" which consisted of a packet of oatmeal or oatmeal breakfast bars and yogurt. More of a "grab and go" concept
Location: Shopping is close by as are fast food AND nice restaurants - not far at all. Kobe Japanese restaurant was awesome and fun! Walgreen's close.
You can walk to Universal Studios on a very lovely path on Universal property and save the parking fees! We ate some meals or leftovers in our room - very convenient and saved $$. Full sized refrigerator, microwave. No ice machines so make your own in the freezer. You can get extra pillows, bed comfortable. Nice dining table where we did jigsaw puzzles between meals. I noticed laundry facilities and the pool was very nice and felt wonderful after a long day at Universal Studios.
