BEWARE - hotel looks nothing like the pics now!
I am not by any means a picky person - I’ve never sent back food or complained about accommodations but this hotel changed all that! Driving up you’re greeted with green stuff growing on the exterior. Immediately after walking into our room it was musty, my eyes started to water and nose started to plug up, as I’m highly allergic to mold. Dust on ceiling vents, rust spots, large spots of chipped paint, a broken cupboard immediately caught my eye.
We had a 1 bedroom suite, putting our teen on the pullout sofa. We could not open the bathroom door and the bedroom door at the same time, as they hit each other. The king bed sunk in the middle, with the feeling of springs poking through. The pullout bed was browned with age.
It was not comfortable, welcoming or clean. Expedia tried to work with the hotel for a refund but they refused. We lasted an hour before getting a different Marriott hotel, and eating that cost. I was not only disappointed in how the hotel handled the situation, but how Marriott had neglected this property!
