Not bad, but noise ruined our stay
Posted Oct 8, 2016
This is a good 3-stars hotel, the room was very clean and well decorated. But our stay was ruined by construction work that was going on exactly above our room: we had to tolerate the noise up until 11.15 PM! Having a little kid and elderly person in the room - it was a nightmare. I think every hotel must be obligated to post on its website a notice about under-construction condition, so travelers with kids wouldn't be trapped and could book a quiet hotel. P.S.: front desk staff could be more friendly. We were evacuated from the hurricane zone, were stressed and tired - didn't hear a word of kindness from the staff.

We would like to take this opportunity to apologize for the issues you experienced during your stay. The noise level was a direct result of preparing the hotel for Hurricane Matthew. We apologize that the noise added to the stress of having to evacuate your home. We sincerely hope that your home made it through the hurricane with no damage and all of your friends and family are safe. Again, we apologize for the poor experience and we hope for the opportunity to make this up to you the next time you are in the area.
