Good for Business

Posted Aug 28, 2016
Pros: Evening meals!
Location: Amusement Parks, Winter Park, Coco Beach
Location makes it very easy to do business with the University and the Military. Lot's of places to eat near by but Homewood offers evening happy hours Monday to Thursday.

Great Location Near UCF, Orlando, & Cape Canaveral

Posted Aug 8, 2016
Pros: The hotel is (1) clean, (2) quiet, (3) near many restaurants, (4) reasonably priced, and (5) has a free breakfast. Fits the bill for me!
Cons: Nothing.
Location: Near UCF, restaurants, not far from downtown Orlando, not far from Cape Canaveral. It's not that close to the parks but you could swing it.
The hotel is very nice and reasonably priced. We had a very comfortable room with a King bed and had an additional living room/sitting room. The kitchen was basic but there was enough there for you to cook if you wanted (we did not). The breakfast has plenty of food (hot) including eggs and breakfast meats - that is included in the price of the room. There is also a small convenience store in the lobby where you can pick up snacks and a few refrigerated items when you don't want to go out. Right next door, there is a Walgreens and they also have snacks, candy, and limited foods. So, you can get most of what you want on foot. As for restaurants, you rights in the middle of everything and there are many reasonable chain restaurants within 1-2 miles (at most). You will be able to fine almost anything that suits your taste.

The staff went above and beyond the norm to provide special needs and did so with such a great hospitable attitude. Most comfortable bedding we have ever experienced and very clean. Many thanks for a great experience.

Sweet suite near UCF

Posted May 16, 2016 on Orbitz
Pros: Cleanliness, great value for your dollar with the inclusive breakfast. Suite includes a kitchenette that would be perfect for longer stays.
Cons: Noise abatement for Alafaya Trail-side rooms.
Location: UCF, easy day trip to the Atlantic if desired, plenty of shopping of all sorts and obviously all of the Disney attractions
Check-in and breakfast staff are quite amiable. Check-in process was fast and we were allowed to get to our suite earlier than anticipated which was a blessing. Breakfast was included in our reservation and the selection was tasty given some diverse dietary preferences within a family (eggs, omeletes, bacon or sausage, cereals, yogurt, fruit, and on). The Alafaya Trail side rooms do get much more road (and night-owl UCF student) noise which was the only negative - -we didn't realize until time to check out that they provide ear plugs in the dresser for the lighter sleeper. Like another reviewer commented, the adjacent Walgreens was put to good use while in town for a wedding and there is an abundance of local shopping of all sorts. UCF was out of session, so the only other possible concern for us would be if the high level of service and cleanliness continues during the normal school year across the street from one of the nation's largest universities -- hopefully that would be the case.

Good place, Great people

This is a good place to stay. Wonderful people at the front desk. The free breakfast is a very tasty treat. Needs to get new couches. The convertible couch was hard and very uncomfortable. All in all though I would stay again.
