The only thing this hotel has going for it is location. Old hotel, long check in line that took forever and poor breakfast. Too crowded to go in pool and they allow guests to swim in clothes. Very long lines for slow elevators and no ice in ice machines. I would not go back for sure!

The room had black mold on the ceilings. The floors were filthy. Its cheap but you def get ehat your paying for at this place

I absolutely love the Avanti Palms Resort & Conference center. This is my second time staying at this hotel location. We stayed in the “Tower King” room and it was very spacious with a lovely view of the city area. Since the renovations on this property I appreciate having 2 small food stations to go to which also stayed open late. We especially loved going to the pool and relaxing in the sun. We are already in discussion to return for our next visit.

This property is really close to Universal. I walked the mile more than once. They also offer shuttle service to the park and give you info on how to catch shuttles to others. I enjoyed the inside bar and bartender a couple of nights. My favorite was a young lady bartender. I did not partake of the pool area but there seemed to be many pleased guests that did. My room was missing an upholstered chair the first day. I reported it to the front desk. It did take 2 days to get my chair, but they delivered as promised. The staff was courteous. It is a pet friendly property so I heard dogs barking a good bit. Didn't bother me very much, but it might have someone else. All in all, for the price, location and comfort it was a good stay.

What i like most of all was leaving. I was disappointed for my entire stay, the quality of the hotel is misrepresented by the pictures on the website, the elevator are so shaky when in motions, the internet didn't work for my entire stay. There were a bunch of students there doing some assessments project so the hotel was very noisy. When we got into our room the floor seems like it was never mopped and the tub was a bit dirty, after laying in the bed for a while i started to scratch and the other day i saw rashes on my skin, wasn't worth it and would not recommend to a friend.

I had a reservation for a superior room in the tower and I didn't get it because the hotel was full. I was sent to a room in the old building in the 1st floor facing to a stairs with a lot of noise.

Very large pool with lots of sunlight. Half the pool is 3 feet deep or less so younger kids can run around safely. Deep section and hot tub for others. Bar beside pool, arcade, many towels easy to get. Big area with white sand to play in. Stayed in tower and was easy access to everything. Rooms very clean and modern. Beds are comfy lots of parking. Luxury feel without luxury price

We stayed in the tower and there are some general things like paint etc that could be updated but not complaining otherwise, was clean and overall kept up with. Only complaint I had was that when we had a plumbing issue around 9pm we called the front desk on our room phone and main number online multiple times to no avail and had to walk to the main area (a bit of a walk) to ask in person. The text number given was convenient and answered so fast! But those hours were only during the day. There were friendly staff and good amenities and super convenient parking. Overall a very good hotel (literally across the street from universal !) at a good price. Couldn’t be located better !

we liked the beds they were very comfortable. the hot tub was nice. we didn't like the cleanliness of the bathroom. doors getting slammed, and very loud in the middle of the night.

Overall good. This is my trusted place. One comment that i have is that some of the rooms in the tower that I have been needs some remodeling of some sort, or the tub is mildly cracked but other than that I like this hotel very much.

This older resort has been remodeled into a beautiful facility. The location is very convenient to a variety of restaurant options within walking distance. Our room was clean as was the public spaces. The pool area is beautiful and spacious. I would definitely stay here again.

Great pool. Very slow check in, in line for a long time then we made it to the room and we have been assigned to a room that was not ready. We arrived at 5:00 pm and did not actually get in until 6:30 pm. Overall clean and conveniently has Starbucks on the property. Very close to Universal.
