Pros: Clean, helpful staff.
Cons: Hotel is a bit molder, not as polished as a newer facility.
Location: A little farther away from Universal.
a little off the beaten path, farther away from Universal. Clean, older hotel, friendly helpful staff, OK breakfast.

Room cleaning staff did not clean coffee pot on a daily basis. They always left lights on after cleaning and would somethimes come in at different times during the day to "finish" cleaning.

Nice family hotel close to universal studios

Pros: Staff service and friendliness, complimentary breakfast, proximity to universal studios.
Cons: Beds and pillows could be improved.
Location: Very close to universal studios and factory outlets.
Hotel staff was very helpful, courteous and friendly, especially the staff serving breakfast. Free shuttle to universal was very convenient. Hotel room was clean. Beds and pillows could be more comfortable, but overall hotel experience was very pleasant.

OK hotel, but far from airport

Cons: updating
Location: not bad if you want to go to some of the attractions, but not near airport, which is what we were looking for.
We were mislead or misunderstood the information. We thought it was close to the airport, but it was not. That meant we still had to get up early the next AM to get to the airport in time for our flight.

I am very particular about where I stay. I researched this hotel and felt it would be a great fit. When I arrived I was overtaken by the strong cleaning fragrance used. I was deeply disappointed as this effects me physically. I was concerned my room would have the overpowering scent, but fortunately it was not as strong. I was very pleased to see how clean my room was! My reviews often complain about rooms being dirty, but this definitely was not the case here. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very spacious. This is an older hotel that could benefit having new carpeting in the halls and new door thresholds ( instead of using tape). The staff was very friendly and accommodating!

Decent Hotel Walking distance to Universal

Pros: The room was nice, smelled clean, and there was a fridge and microwave in the room.
Cons: The building it self needs a lot of TLC, so many little things that need to be fixed, painted, and repaired.
Location: Love the location of the hotel, it is within walking distance of Universal Park and Citywalk, and a walgreens.
The room was clean, but the hotel needs lots of upkeep. The staff was nice enough. The morning breakfast was not good at all. The hot food was just sausage patties, no eggs or anything else. There were packages of oatmeal, but no bowls, or hot water. But the room did have a fridge and a microwave.

OK, but needs to pay more attention to details.

Shower had next to no pressure due bad tub bath switch valve. Beds were hard, but pillows were even harder!! No many back of house things going on while guests are trying to move around in hall ways.
