Close to DisneyPosted Feb 27, 2018
Four of us stayed at the Marriott Royal Palms on our recent trip to Orlando. The unit was recently remodeled and everything was very clean and new. We used the Royal Palms pool one day which was very convenient and nice setting. Another day we took the hotel shuttle to the Marriott World pool with the slides and waterfalls. The service at both places was excellent. I would highly recommend Royal Palms. It was an easy drive to both Disney and Universal theme parks.

Awesome stay!Posted Jan 2, 2018 on Hotels
We didn’t expect it to be so nice- it was cool the days we were there so we didn’t swim but the pools were really nice- awesome restaurants ....didn’t feel like we needed to go anywhere. Thank you so much!

A great location and access to Disney!Posted Nov 17, 2017 on Hotels
Overall, the Royal Palms was a good place to stay while our family was in Orlando. The only negative comment - the building next door was under renovation and our building was scheduled for renovation next. I wish we knew this when they assigned us our two vacation villas. We would have requested a renovated villa. Our villa overlooked a golf course which was nice, however, the grounds crew began cutting grass/vacuuming the greens at 6 am daily!

Good room but a/c doesn't cool enough.Posted May 30, 2017 on Hotels
Very nice room and location. However, this is summer in Florida and the a/c did not cool properly. The first night we thought we made a mistake with the thermostat. The second night we set it lower, and still would not cool. Only a 2 night trip, so we let the staff know on checkout. No apology and she was quite indifferent to our complaint. Not good. It is a shame if they do not believe this is important.

Convenient and spaciousPosted Jan 16, 2016
Pros: Location, remodeled room, spaciousness, 2 BR.
Cons: The bathroom draws in my facility were not cut evenly, indicating some lack of attention to workmanship.
Location: Right off of I-4. Perfect.
I stayed here because my conference was being held at the Orlando World Marriott, the largest Marriott. I did not want to pay for daily parking at that big Marriott, so I was able to stay at the lovely Royal Palms, which just a 10 minute walk and still on the grounds of the Marriott and its golf course. I loved the pool, the 2 BR facility and really great kitchen facility and room sizes. I'll be back with my law partner, next time, with the 2 separate BR. There's also a pull-out couch in the living room, so you could sleep six, although 2 to 4 is better.

Nice VillasPosted Dec 29, 2014
Nice 2 room villa with full size kitchen. Needs more mature front desk help & on property transportation. We had to carry all our luggage from the lobby to the very last building, passing many groundskeepers, etc in golf carts who could've easily helped us. And to catch a shuttle to the main hotel required the same walk to the Villas lobby. Returning from the main hotel, the shuttle drops you off at the Villas lobby & make you walk again to your building - rain or shine. PS - don't attempt to visit Orlando attractions during December, it's their busiest time of year. We spent thousands on admission & hardly rode any rides.
