To start, at check in the female clerk was rude. When we got to our room, we found dirt and trash on the floor, the furniture had not been dusted in a long time and there was hair and pubic hair on the floor of the bathroom. The bathroom door would not close completely and the main door remained partially ajar as well. This hotel is in DESPERATE NEED of refurbishment. The old wooden doors are warped and dirty. The walls are filthy dirty. After this visit, I will never choose a Marriott hotel again.

Nice but not 4 star quality.

Posted Jul 6, 2016
The hotel is very large and a little worn out for 4 stars. The staff were friendly and reasonably professional but I had a parking exit issue that I had to deal with every day for 5 days that they couldn't seem to resolve. The cafe is really over priced with $5 bottled water. The restaurant was very nice and I had a very good meal there. Location was handy for Airport and Flight Safety etc. comfortable bed and clean room.

Brief Stay Type of Place

Posted Jun 30, 2016
Pros: Proximity to meeting place
Cons: Customer service-oriented attitude. As a guest, I felt as though I imposed on the employees time in the few exchanges I had with them.
Location: Lots of restaurants available.
Would not choose this as a hotel for any length of time. If pressed and you only need one night - this would work but there are many other places you could choose in close proximity to this one. I am disappointed because it is a Marriott Hotel and I have never felt like this while staying at a Marriott. I chose it because of the name but they are not maintaining a Marriott standard or did not during the time I was there. Some equipment did not function properly and it appears as though there is a lot of deferred maintenance. Desk attendants were not helpful when asked about shuttle bus options and times to and from locations.

Having stayed at the nearby Marriot residence inn recently I was very disgruntled at the fact I had to pay for breakfast, parking and wifi for a sister hotel 1/2 a mile away.Probably will not use this Marriot again!

Convenient to airport

Hotel looked nice, and the pool area looked like it might be fun and refreshing. We arrived at 9pm, though, and didn't have time to check it all out. Cons: the air conditioning in the room was less than satisfactory. If we weren't so exhausted, I'd have requested maintenance, or a room change. Also, upon check-in, I asked for a roll away bed. The woman said she could have one delivered, but it never arrived. Again, I was too exhausted to put up a fuss. Finally, the shuttle driver the morning of check out was not at all friendly, and although we needed Terminal A, he dropped us off at Terminal B. I might recommend to a friend, but only with a caveat to watch what you get.
