No resort

Posted May 25, 2017
I hated this hotel, it says resort but clearly it is not! It's very old, ran down, and dirty. I was disgusted but luckily I only had to stay here one night as I was just passing through Orlando to get to Daytona for a wedding. I wouldn't recommend this unless you're used to living in subpar accommodations, which I am not. It was very cheap, I guess you get what you pay for. I've learned my lesson. The one good thing is that it's close to lots of food and entertainment. I found myself doing anything to not have to go back to the room.

Don't do it to yourself

Posted May 25, 2017
I looked at the pictures of the rooms and it didn't look so bad and the price was right, so I booked a room. I'm in a wheelchair so I requested a handicap accessible room with a roll in shower and they confirmed I would have such. But upon opening the room and being greeted by a dead cockroach at the door, I proceeded to check the bathroom which had a bathtub in it and in fact was not accessible for me. I called the front desk and they said the two rooms that were accessible were full. This was not acceptable because I reserved the handicap accessible room prior, so they literally gave my room away. I tried explaining the situation and how I could not get in the bathroom and all they could say was sorry. This all took place around midnight, so we had to find another hotel after being tired and worn out from a long day. In the end we left and Expedia made it right for us, so thank you Expedia.

Location was great

Posted May 24, 2017
The location is Great if your not driving and need to be close to restaurants, shopping and entertainment. We stayed one night before our cruise. The young lady at the front desk checking us in was not friendly and she was slow. The tub was dirty and the blanket smelled. It's ok for 1 night.

I never got clean towels in my room. The carpet was dirty as well as the toilet and the bathtub. They did not provide a comforter. I do not recommend this hotel.

Unclean, sheets and blankets were NEVER washed!

Posted May 23, 2017
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything! Wash the bedding after EVERY stay, fix problems like the toilet and A/C. Cleanliness is number #1
Location: Orlando, tons of stuff to do and see. Amusements and parks.
When I arrived the staff were decent, didn't have any issue with them but when I got to my room I was really disgusted. I was tired so literally the first thing I did was pull the blanket back to lay down and I noticed a considerable amount of hair strands laying in between the sheets and blankets. The pillow cases were clearly NOT washed and I am quite sure neither was the rest of the bed. The room was somewhat damp smelling but not horrible in that respect. The A/C did not work correctly, the toilet lid was off and was continually running. Was just a really horrible hotel, horrible experience. I left and went to a different hotel for the night - I won't risk that.

You get what you pay for

Posted May 22, 2017
Pros: Absolutely nothing.
Cons: Almost everything. Probably should be shut down
Location: Don't know...was traveling through, Orlando was not destination. There was a big Ferris wheel nearby, that could have been fun for some people
When I arrived, the lobby was not at the hotel address, I had to walk across the street to another hotel to check-in. When I arrived at this new lobby, the staff was rude and inattentive, but I was able to check in with minimal difficulty. My room was on the back side of the hotel, which was not well-lit and there were some sketchy folks sitting around in the walkway. They watched me go to my room alone and as soon as I unlocked my door, one of them pulled out a phone and sent a text, watching me the whole time. I tried to close and lock my door but the lock was broken. I went back to the lobby and asked for a new room and got one on the third floor. The stairwell on the way to the room smelled strongly like urine. I got to the room and checked for bed bugs, only saw one flea-looking thing in the mattress so figured I was good with my clothes on laying on top of the blankets. I slept OK, woke up early to get the free breakfast. This turned out to be literally cheap wheat bread with packets of jam or jelly and a juice machine. No fruit, etc. Was very glad to leave, will not be going back.

Checked out immediately- demanded refund!

Posted May 22, 2017
This is an old property that a much newer addition has been added to that if making reservations to stay within this old property, you are not allowed access to the new. They are simply continuing to sell rooms from the old, run down and filthy building that in no way possible can they call a resort much less a hotel. The windows are filthy and the grounds in terrible and unsafe... NOT for kids! Very old pool area and not allowed to use the much newer - guests of this location are excluded from having access to the newer facilities and even have to have their so called continental breakfast from a small snack shack with about two patio tables inside and enough room for maybe 4 to be in... looks to be maybe at one point an old towel house for the pool outside surrounded by very poorly maintained grounds. Inside the rooms the cable seemed rigged without a box and not professionally installed with extremely poor reception if any.. lights needed replacing and not much lighting within the rooms to begin with. Bathroom didn't seem cleaned and was dirty , as there was also finger and hand prints along a table inside , being an example that the rooms were not cleaned sufficiently. The front desk girl we had checked in with was wearing a light leather coat and not in uniform that represented the or any hotel and seemed quite unfriendly with offering very little to no information upon checking in, not even explaining where our room was located or best place to park for it... nothing.

Dirty, old, and cheap.

Posted May 21, 2017
I don't have particularly high standards for a hotel just a clean room and linens and I'll sleep good that night. Our room was damaged, floors appeared to not have been vacuumed in over a year, and there were NO linens no hands towels no shower towels Nothing. If it wasn't for the fact that we prepaid and we're exhausted I'd never slept that night. Terrible hotel.
