Not what I expected

Pros: The hotel was close to Disney and the hotel had a big pool. Cons: The room- it was small for a family of 2 adults and 2 small children. We had a room with two beds and barely had space to put anything down. The room only had 3 drawers and 1 stand up closet. We had to keep most of our clothes in our luggage. In addition, the room carpet was dirty and stained throughout. Possibly the reason why small roaches were found. The breakfast- was free however it was not all edible. We opted in buying breakfast out everyday. The hotel- the hotel has 3 floors. It has one elevator but it's in the middle of the hotel, too far for the end rooms. Even though there is one elevator it was not functioning at the time. I will not recommend this hotel to friends or family.

I have no complaints about my stay at this hotel. The lobby was bright and inviting, breakfast was more than adequate. Too many people but the staff managed things well. Restaurants and shopping nearby. I would stay here again.

Clean Safe Secure

Pros: Ground floor entry to room, car parked right outside door.
Cons: A/c fan to run continuously
Location: Quick access to all Disney attractions. Very easy to navigate. Lots of restraunts nearby. Great central location.
Comfortable beds, friendly staff, great price, clean, felt safe and secure!

The standard room is too small for a family of 4 but comfortable to seep. Breakfast time was busy and there was not enough space in that area for every person to be sited. The food was not always available but the service provider tried her best to serve. So far the hotel is not that bad to stay for a short period of time.

Disney experience

Cons: One of the major categories we specified was a safe and we would not have booked this hotel if we had known the safe was not working.
Location: Plenty of restaurants within 5 minutes drive
Plus points: Hotel very convenient for both Disney & Universal theme parks. Parking was fine and provided you were down to breakfast before 7.15am you missed the breakfast crush. Food choice was OK and staff worked very hard to keep things moving. The room itself was nicely decorated, had new furniture and comfortable beds and towels were both plentiful and soft. The shower was very good with plenty of hot water. Minus points: As a newly refurbished hotel I expected everything to be in good working order. However, upon arrival we found that not only did the safe not work but it wasn't even bolted down, just sitting on the base of the wardrobe. We did complain on three occasions and were told they would have to get new parts but at the end of our two week stay nothing had happened. To add insult to injury the hotel stated in there rules that they would not accept any responsibility for valuables not kept in the safe so we had to carry passports and money with us each day. Although the A/C/Heating worked very effectively the thermostatic control did not so you had to turn it on and off manually as you got either warmer or colder. The unit was also extremely noisy so couldn't be left on at night. This was obviously a very old unit. The same noise problem affected to extractor in the bathroom once again it worked but the noise level was excessive.

Girls' Getaway

Pros: -in-room fridge and microwave -comfy beds -hotel staff were friendly and helpful-provided maps & info to local attractions -cold lemon water in lobby
Cons: - breakfast area was busy and congested - pool area needs music piped in - have you considered a hot-tub?
Location: lots of restaurants nearby Super Target just a mile away close to I-4 and many attractions
This hotel offers travellers an economical way of enjoying the Orlando area without spending a lot. The pool was clean and heated! We suntanned by the pool through the day and took in some nearby sites and shopping at night. Overall, it was a good price for what we needed.

Do not stay here for your Disney vacation!

Got in on a Sunday night. Staff at the desk was rude when we were checking in, and it took forever even though it was 11 at night. Good luck getting breakfast in the mornings because it goes fast. They almost never had fruit, yogurt, or juice. The coffee is undrinkable as it comes out of a machine that mixes hot water with instant coffee and tastes like hot pond water. Our room had terrible plumbing. Taking a shower was like standing in a filthy bath because the drain was stopped up. We don't know why, but for half our trip our room also smelled terrible - and I mean TERRIBLE. The fridge in the room didn't work and the walls and windows are thin. The hotel website boasts of having a free shuttle to the parks. Don't be fooled. The shuttle only goes to the parks a few times a day, and only certain parks. For instance, it never goes to Magic Kingdom. You have to get on the shuttle (which takes about an hour to get to a Disney park as it takes several stops at other hotels) and then you wait for a Disney bus to get to your desired park. The one time we tried it we left at 8:45 am and didn't get to a park until almost 11, even though the parks are only 10 minutes away. The rest of the week we Ubered back and fourth which ended up costing about another $150 in transportation. Not to mention the $100 it cost us to rent a cab to get from the airport and back. For $250 we could have spent a little more money and stayed somewhere nicer on Disney property. Don't stay here.
