Nice stay close to Disney World

Pros: Hotel was very clean.
Cons: Update furniture.
Location: Plenty of souvenir shops. Places to eat.
Great hotel Very clean. furniture was a little out dated. Clean linens. Friendly hotel staff.

Nice hotel for the price

The outside of the hotel is a little dated. A microwave would have been nice to have in the room. The hotel staff was very friendly. It is not fancy, but for the price, it is somewhere to lay your head at night. There is not a hot tub, which would have been nice after a long day at Legoland.

It's clean. Nice staff. Helpful staff. Probably gets a bad reputation because there is an abandoned restaurant attached to the lobby.

Close to Disney World

Red Lion is a nice alternative to the expensive Disney resorts. There are great benefits to staying at a Disney resort I'm sure, but if you just want a less expensive option, this is a nice place. It's down the street from the Disney campus and has a free shuttle that gets you there and back. The deal with the shuttle is that it is only once in the morning and once in the evening with limited space that you need to reserve. If you plan to do the park open to close this is perfect. If you aren't into a 15 hour experience at the park then maybe paying $20 to park at Disney isn't a bad idea so that you have the option to come and go as you please.

great hotel

Pros: clean, close to parks, safe, comfortable, price
Cons: outside needs renovated, microwaves in rooms would be nice without a fee
Location: close to Disney parks within minutes
hotel is outdated on the outside but that is the only thing I found wrong. which isn't wrong really, just not eye appealing. room was spacious, clean and comfortable. the bed was soft, but comfortable to me, its all a matter of preference. 5 minutes from Disney, very convenient to parks, and the price was well worth it.they do charge a 25 dollar deposit on top of the booking price, but this is refunded to you, so no big deal. great amenities as well, I believe there are 2 pools, the one I used was big, clean and well kept. their restaurant is currently closed for renovation which I would have liked to get a bite to eat there, but there is a bob Evans directly across the street so I managed fine. I frequent Disney often and I will definitely come back and go for this hotel every time.

Would stay again!

So this hotel looks kind of sketchy from the fornt outer appearance but they seem to be renovating it so I'm sure it will be nicer once completed. That being said, I would totally stay here again! A friend and I stayed for a week for vacation and we were glad we picked this place. The rooms were nice and the staff was super helpful. A huge plus is it's close to the parks and they offer free shuttles to and from.

Towels in short supply

We booked a Suite with 3 Adults and 2 children for 9 nights. Housekeeping only supplied 2 bath towels daily even after we asked for at least 4!!! One night there were 0 towels they hadn't done the laundry at 10 pm they could spare 2 towels for us. I called front desk daily and then was told it is corporate policy to supply 2 towels per room! That is fine until you're told how many guests are staying in the suite. It sleeps 6 by the way. Sorry not sharing towels! Housekeeping MGR said it wouldn't be a problem on Day 3 but it was an issue until day 8! Day 8 they skipped our room completely and didn't clean or replenish anything. I complained to Hotel MGR and On day 9 we had 12 towels delivered all around the room! Not a way to keep customers! The MGR refunded 3 days of hotel fees $34 not enough!

Convenient location

Hotel accessible to food, activities, Disney Parks. Room small, needs more dresser space. Disappointed room not cleaned 2 of 6 days but, clean towels brought as requested. Will be nice when they have an operating restaurant/bar. Wish there was a hot tub! Overall acceptable stay.

Close to Disney attractions

Bed was way to soft and uncomfortable. There was a $9 charge for taxes and a $25 deposit and was not sure what is was for Was looking foward to have a relaxing hot tub and there was not one.

Double Charge

This hotel charged me twice for my stay, it put my account in the negative. When I called to ask them to correct the mistake, I was informed that the manager was gone (no night manager) and nothing could be done until the next day. Meanwhile I had no money.
