Under Renovation, No Lobby or Hot Water
Posted Dec 17, 2016
No lobby to check in from, makeshift check-in desk at curb-side. You could smell concrete/drywall on third floor, however I could determine where the scent was coming from. Room 350 was clean, however there was NO HOT water for showering, only slightly tepid temp. Calls to curb-side desk did not fix problem. Second day I decided to venture to forth floor where we kept hearing noises, and discovered this is where the drywall.concrete smell was coming from, the entire floor was being renovated. I turned the shower on in the morning, and again NO Hot Water. Called front desk again and spoke to Chris the day-shift manager and he apologized and said the best he could do was comp me a day. Okay so I stayed in a less than desirable hotel with No Hot Water for about $72.50 a day. Two days for $145. Although, the room was clean, and the manager apologized, I think they shouldn't have been renting the hotel if it was not fully operational. I would not recommend a Marriott Residence Inn nor will I ever rent from them again. I have had better service at Hampton Inn, and dozens of others in the area.
