"Amazing place!"
I stayed for work, but loved the experience staying at a resort-type hotel. The room was perfect. The grounds and lobby are wonderful. I played pool and fooseball, but didn't have time for the pool. Would have loved to lounge on the lazy river. The firepits at night are great and the gelato at the market store is amazing!! I would come back for the gelato!!

"Grandparents seeing Disney through granddaughter"
We have been to Disney 8 times as parents, this our first as grandparents, this was by far the best. We have always stayed at a Disney resort, but this time chose the Waldorf. This resort is hand's down AWESOME, I will never stay anywhere else when in Orlando. The overall trip was exhausting, very warm and rainy. We are very young grandparents(52,46) with lots of energy but weather was yuck!! This hotel made it all better, the staff, the room, everything we encountered was over the top. This truly was a magical experience but the hotel gets the credit.

"great location, 20mins from Disney"
Great resort & location. Felt the room was a little tired though, frayed carpets, well worn kitchen sink, wardrobe doors not closing, could do with a makeover. Housekeeping during our first week was excellent, however our second week was very poor, had to complain twice, lack of towels, beds not made properly, bathrooms not cleaned. Were told by reception there was a new housekeeping team during that time.

"Good stay at Saratoga Springs"
Recently stayed at Saratoga Springs for our Disney visit. Hotel picked us up from Orlando International Airport. The line moved pretty fast. If you stay in one of the Disney Hotel's (i highly recommend it) Make sure you register to Disney Express TRansportation before you arrive. After we arrived at the airport checkin process was below average. Unfortunately we were not able to get into our villa until 4pm!!! I have stayed in many hotels this was the worst longest waiting period we had! Imagine you got two kids and had to wait 4 hrs around the lobby! Reception said the room was not ready! We checked in at 4pm, the room was ok, 2 bedroom villa, spacious three tv, 2 full bath and fully equip. Kitchen washer and dryer. Kitchen has all the utensil you need to cook, hotel also provided detergants for dishwasher and washer. The rooms are old, well kept but old, clean though. Hotel has two restaurant one is casual, Pallette, you can buy groceries from this fast food type restaurant and prices are not bad. Second option is more formal need to make a reservation, I do not think it is worth it, we ate there and It was ok. Hotel offers 3 pools, they never felt too crowded, two small playgrounds and big room for children activities where kids can play with arts and crafts. Saratoga is very close to Disney Mall, can walk there in less then 10 min., hotel offer shuttle service to every Disney destination and runs on time.

    How To Pick Orlando Resorts

When it comes to finding perfect resort for your next trip to Orlando, Florida, there are number of options to choose from.

Because the city is nicknamed The Theme Park Capital of the World, you probably won’t be surprised to find that there are various family-friendly resorts in Orlando, FL. These places are a great option for your family vacation as they cater to your kiddos. Many of them present child-approved menus at the on-site restaurants, play structures in the pool areas, and convenient shuttle service to the nearby amusement parks. You’ll even come across a variety of waterpark resorts in Orlando for the ultimate family adventure.

However, it’s not all about the kids when it comes to resorts in Orlando. You’ll also discover lodging with adult-only pool areas, championship golf courses, and nightclubs, too. Several of the luxury resorts even feature some of the best spas in the area, complete with body therapies, facials, massages, and salon services.

When you’re searching for Orlando resort deals, look no further than our selection right here to find one that suits all your preferences and price range.

Best and Worst Times to Visit Orlando

If you’re not a fan of crowds, avoid visiting Orlando when schools break for vacation. Families often travel to this amusement park mecca when the kids are out of school, which means spring and summer break, Thanksgiving, and Christmas can be especially busy times in this city.

Along with the tourists, summer brings humid weather, temperatures in the 90s F, and higher prices. Summertime also welcomes an increase in rainfall. Storms often roll in during the afternoon, but they usually clear up within a few hours. Florida’s hurricane season lasts from June to November. Even though Orlando isn’t on the coast, hurricanes and tropical storms can still affect the city.

For cooler temperatures in the 70s F, consider visiting between January and April or September and December. While you may need to pack a light jacket during these times, you’ll receive lower rates and won’t have to deal with the crowds.

    Things to Do

There’s no shortage of thrill rides and entertainment in Orlando. You’ll find the House of Mouse and various other theme parks, such as Universal Studio Florida® and LEGOLAND® Florida Resort. These parks aren’t just for children, though. During your Orlando visit, get dizzy on the spinning rides, bask on man-made beaches, and scream at the top of your lungs on the rollercoasters. Discover The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ at Universal’s Islands of Adventure®, and hang out with the world’s most famous mouse and his crew.

After reeling from all the thrill rides, take a break at one of the many museums in town. Check out the masterpieces at Orlando Museum of Art, marvel at the Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition, and tour Leu Gardens and Leu House Museum. From the Orlando Science Center to the nearby Kennedy Space Center, there are plenty of exhibits to strike your fancy. Then after gallivanting around the city all day, rest up at one of the best Orlando resorts in town.
