"Mid level hotel"
Hotel was a cheaper option in the area and was very conveniently located. Really great location! It was worth the $64 a night, but I would not pay any more than that. The room was comfortable, though the sleep number bed did not hold its air through the entire night. The "continental" breakfast is terrible. Really it's just bread. Not kidding, your options are white or wheat with jelly. To get any eggs, or meat it's $10 in a different area of the hotel. The hotel staff were nice and the room was clean. One questionable thing was when I requested a cab. The "cab" that picked me up was just a family member of someone at the front desk in a privately owned vehicle. It was kind of sketchy, but the driver was nice. However the driver only took cash.

"Nice facility and staff but a caveat..."
We only stayed for one night but we were happy overall. The kitchen was very small but serviceable. The bath and shower were great. But we were unaware until we checked in that there would be a sales pitch to consider Diamond Resorts as a time share. It wasn't the whole spiel usually seen with such sales gimmicks, but an attempt to set one up for the future. But the staff was nice and the stay was fine.

"Worth it. "
It was a two day stay on Valentine weekend. At the entrance you are greeted from a security guard, you have to be staying here to get it, which seems great so only the people staying here enjoy the facilities. Once we checked in it was quick with a warm welcome. I asked for a renovated room and it was not in vain the room was basically like home kitchen, wide rooms, wide bathroom, clean, nice view from balcony. My husband and I really enjoyed the it and would really like to come back. But the reviews don't lie they are pushy with the "free gift" but if you just politely decline you should be fine.

Orlando Resort & Spa Travel Guide

    How To Pick Orlando Resorts

When it comes to finding perfect resort for your next trip to Orlando, Florida, there are number of options to choose from.

Because the city is nicknamed The Theme Park Capital of the World, you probably won’t be surprised to find that there are various family-friendly resorts in Orlando, FL. These places are a great option for your family vacation as they cater to your kiddos. Many of them present child-approved menus at the on-site restaurants, play structures in the pool areas, and convenient shuttle service to the nearby amusement parks. You’ll even come across a variety of waterpark resorts in Orlando for the ultimate family adventure.

However, it’s not all about the kids when it comes to resorts in Orlando. You’ll also discover lodging with adult-only pool areas, championship golf courses, and nightclubs, too. Several of the luxury resorts even feature some of the best spas in the area, complete with body therapies, facials, massages, and salon services.

When you’re searching for Orlando resort deals, look no further than our selection right here to find one that suits all your preferences and price range.

Best and Worst Times to Visit Orlando

If you’re not a fan of crowds, avoid visiting Orlando when schools break for vacation. Families often travel to this amusement park mecca when the kids are out of school, which means spring and summer break, Thanksgiving, and Christmas can be especially busy times in this city.

Along with the tourists, summer brings humid weather, temperatures in the 90s F, and higher prices. Summertime also welcomes an increase in rainfall. Storms often roll in during the afternoon, but they usually clear up within a few hours. Florida’s hurricane season lasts from June to November. Even though Orlando isn’t on the coast, hurricanes and tropical storms can still affect the city.

For cooler temperatures in the 70s F, consider visiting between January and April or September and December. While you may need to pack a light jacket during these times, you’ll receive lower rates and won’t have to deal with the crowds.

    Things to Do

There’s no shortage of thrill rides and entertainment in Orlando. You’ll find the House of Mouse and various other theme parks, such as Universal Studio Florida® and LEGOLAND® Florida Resort. These parks aren’t just for children, though. During your Orlando visit, get dizzy on the spinning rides, bask on man-made beaches, and scream at the top of your lungs on the rollercoasters. Discover The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ at Universal’s Islands of Adventure®, and hang out with the world’s most famous mouse and his crew.

After reeling from all the thrill rides, take a break at one of the many museums in town. Check out the masterpieces at Orlando Museum of Art, marvel at the Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition, and tour Leu Gardens and Leu House Museum. From the Orlando Science Center to the nearby Kennedy Space Center, there are plenty of exhibits to strike your fancy. Then after gallivanting around the city all day, rest up at one of the best Orlando resorts in town.
