Two towel rule hotel

I have stayed at Value Place in Ft. Walton Beach before, but this one was horrible. The room is clean and near many restaurants and shopping, but I was shocked when I went down to front desk to ask for 2 extra towels because we have a family of 4 and was told that they only provide 2 towels per room!! We had to bring the dirty towels to front desk to get new ones LOL Lucky we packed extra beach towels. No hairdryer or iron in the bathroom like the other Value Place. The front desk was rude and wasn't even there till aft wet 11 and we hardly saw anyone, always had to call. We had to pay for WiFi which was $20/wk for mutiple lines which was fine. Had a lot of noisy neighbors, which front desk didn't bother to take care of when we called @ 2 am. The hallway sometimes smelled like pot. If you're just looking for a place to sleep this is fine, but I don't recommend if you have family staying with you.

SCARY, better drive further to get a safe room

Arrived 2 AM due to late flight, difficult to raise night manager. Tattooed (but harmless) guy on bike followed us into unlocked waiting area, hoping for small change. Whole place smells like cigarette smoke. Took 40 minutes to get checked in. Reserved non-smoking but that doesn't exist. Pillows seemed used. No utensils in kitchenette. Filthy carpets and bathroom. Shouting neighbors drowned out by loud AC.

Sleeping in an ashtray

Worse stay ever! If you like sleeping in an ashtray this is the place for you. Front desk wouldnt change us to a different room. The housekeeping come in our room and stole my personal towels and never give them back! Horrible stay!!

Dumpy hotel in bad neighborhood

Don't waste your money on this hotel. Unfriendly staff, sketchy occupants, filthy run down rooms and hotel is located in bad part of town. Don't expect to get any sleep here either as occupants are coming and going all night long. Very noisy. I couldn't wait to leave.

Needs improvements

Had roaches in room and took four days before problem was dealt with. Cleaning crew took towels out of room and never left new ones. Took 2 days to get new ones. So went with out shower for that time. Stayed there before never had this problem. Need to get better help and management.

Ok for the price.

The staff was ok and pretty friendly. I see now why it is called extended stay, there were people that worked in the area that stayed weekly. They were sorta scary looking and the elevator smelt like weed constantly! You have to pay for anything else other than what was in the room. If you wanted wifi, there was a charge. If you wanted clean towels, there was charge. If you wanted the room cleaned while you were staying there, there was charge. It was a ok hotel for the price, esp since we stayed there because we were in town for Bike Week and every where else was $200.00 or higher! We were never in the room but to shower and sleep. It was great for that.

Horrible customer service

No one in office for Sunday check in till 4pm room was not ready for another hour NO pots pans utensils or anything for the efficiency rooms make it useless. HORRIBLE front desk people the fee hours they are there. Room was clean only good I can say.
