The room was wonderful, beds and pillows were heavenly, and I love the location. There was definitely a lack of planning and communication between the hotel and guests as far as a severe lack of parking. We drove off property for dinner and when we returned the parking lot was blocked off. I was told no more parking, I needed to drive over to the Swan hotel, park there and take an 8-10 minute walk back to our resort. They were not opening the second, near empty guest lot at the Dolphin for hotel guests who are required to pay to park overnight. I was told it was because they needed the other lot to begin tent construction for an event. Not sure why they couldn’t have put day guests in that lot since they would have been gone by night time, thus leaving parking spaces for hotel overnight guests in the other lot. After talking with the concierge desk and being told I was about the 5th person to bring the same concern to them, they credited the parking fee back to my folio. They did the right thing in the end but it was still a huge inconvenience and there was very poor planning and a huge lack of communication with guests. Had I known about the parking issue I would have given them more of my money and eaten dinner at the hotel.

The hotel is obviously safe. The resort feed and parking fee are out of this world. Expensive! Their customer service leaves a lot to be desired… very slow on requests and they did not disclose everything. Quite disappointed!!!

This was our second stay at this resort. Unfortunately it just did not seem like they were at the top of their game this time. We had purchased lightening lane passes for a ride over at Epcot. We were not sure what transportation was available to get us there so we asked, and were assured there was a bus. So we waited a while, no bus. We asked someone else and were advised there was no bus. We missed our ride window, basically wasting our money. I went up to guest services this morning just to ask for directions. That was the only place with staff. Before I could even say anything, I was very rudely advised they were not open, even though there were two people standing at the desk. Finally, we used the valet service for our car. Once again we asked someone where to go to get our car brought around. We were given directions, which we followed. Once we got there we were advised that the valet station was somewhere else for the weekend, meaning we basically had to walk back to where we started. We understand this was a race weekend at Disney, so things were shifted around a little, but the staff members should have been aware and able to answer questions correctly. I’m not sure we will be back.

The Disney Transportation is false advertising. It is NOT disney transportation, it is Mears. You are dropped off at both Magic Kingdom and Disney Springs at random public drop off points.

We had a wonderful short weekend at the Walt Disney Dolphin Resort! The property was beautiful, with lots to do. Staff was pleasant and welcoming! The pools were clean, refreshing and plenty of pool chairs available. Appreciated water being provided in the room as well as by the pool. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and shower was nice. Restaurants on property were very good, but very pricey. (Approx. $70 for a sandwich and 2 drinks) Be prepared to pay a parking fee on top of the resort fee and reservation.

Excellent all around, except prices in sundries lobby shop obscenely high. This is a big, convention-oriented facility, so nothing intimate or memorable about it. But rooms are cheap and clean and eveything works as it should.

We usually stay on Disney property but have heard good things about this resort. It was overall ok. It feels like an average hotel but in a prime location. The lobby is beautiful but everything else was just ok. The rooms are carpeted and the ceilings in bathroom had some mold spots. If you’re going for the parks and location this is a great spot. Food was ehhh. Overall average hotel

I was not happy with the resort fee when all we did was use the pool. The cost of parking was ridiculous. Disney hotels don’t charge anymore when are you gonna start? If you need the money add it into your room rates!

when we arrived the hallways were dirty and when we got to our room someone had used the toilet and not flushed. There was also stains on one set of sheets. The food in the hotel was outrageously expensive. And it was terrible. The fries were cold and like chewing on leather. The meat in the sandwich was inedible and the grilled cheese was cold and the cheese was coagulating

Everything was fine but I paid for a room with a resort view and I could only see a little corner of the resort. Also, the resort states they charge you $40 per day for the extras but they charge $100 per day. I wish I would have known that before I went.

Beautiful grounds, tired interior for the money. Walkable to Epcot which is why we stayed there. I had to work remotely while on vacation and the wifi throughout the complex was horrific, just streaming music was near impossible let alone my work’s VM. Disney/Marriott need to invest in 21st century IT.
