Lose time for the timeshare

Posted Nov 30, 2016
Pros: location, room size great, balcony nice touch
Cons: lay off the timeshare, the transportation provided by the hotel was incredibly overpriced.
Location: loads! 10 min from Universal. Lots of good eats and shopping close by.
Checking in was nice, staff was nice .... until we did not buy into the timeshare. We were told 90 minutes, it was well over 3 hours that got really pushy for the last half. We were only there for 2 days and 3 nights, having 3 hours from 8-11 on one of the two precious days was not cool. There was a feel of it being nice at a distance, but look closer and there were lots of cracks. To me, without the timeshare aspect, it was a GREAT deal and value for the cost, but with the timeshare part of it, I feel I would have preferred to spend an additional 250.00 to stay somewhere else and have a stress free stay.

Disappointed

Posted Nov 28, 2016
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Some people do not like high pressure sales and just want a room for a few nights...
Location: Location was Great and a lot to do nearby... That's good was not impressed I felt like I was in a apartment complex...
First off...when I booked through expedia it did not say it was a time share. The first night water leaked through the light above the bathtub like a faucet was running. Maintenance came and did nothing but it had stopped. Maybe who ever was upstairs was done in the tub... We were locked out of our room due to the neighbor and it took 45 minutes to get security to let us in. The room door has about a 2 inch gap at the bottom and we had to stuff a towel under the crack to stop the light so we could sleep. We tried to get a shuttle to Disney Springs....nobody could ever answer the question. The counter by the sink was sticky and appeared was never cleaned. We were not told the pool towels were under the sink until we arrived at the pool.... Not my first rodeo at nice hotels and this was not one... will not stay again..

Stayed here for our vacation to Disney world

Posted Nov 20, 2016
Hotel is really nice, the staff is so friendly and helpful. Parking was an issue during our stay we had to park a little far down everyday. Cleanliness was good for the most part a few things were overlooked like under the bed and housecleaning wasn't done one day.

This was nothing except a time-share selling trap.

Posted Nov 19, 2016
Pros: The staff ... from the front desk to the maid service was exceptional.
Location: The location is extremely convenient however the I4 was under construction and was a nightmare.
One whole day of our vacation was destroyed because of the vulture type salesperson we encountered. This wasn't a trip based on a time-share tour and we were very unhappy about the pressure and the amount of our precious vacation time that was consumed.

Gorgeous resort with beautiful views!

Posted Nov 18, 2016
Pros: Rooms and amenities
Cons: Wait time at check-in.
Location: It's Orlando, everything is nearby.
This resort is like many in Florida, where they keep expanding and growing. Don't let the construction fool you. The amenities, staff, and villas are amazing. 5 pools, a lake, the views and atmosphere was amazing. The spa was awesome. Great vacation.

Old fashion condition

Posted Nov 17, 2016
They gave me a room and it was not clean at all. There is another unit is sharing with me and there was one sharing front door. I locked out two times because someone locked inside the front door. I called the security and they opened for me. It was not a pleasant experience. Be aware...

Time Share Complex in need of repair.

Posted Nov 17, 2016
Pros: It was close to the convention center and parks
Cons: They are building some new buildings that look nice but the rest is just lipstick on a pig.
Waited in line for 30 min to check in (there was no line) just one person at the counter ahead of me. They were arguing about their time share and it took 4 employees to help calm him down. There were many other staff standing around but apparently they were only there to check in VIP Timeshare guests and were unable to help me with my check in (Purchased through Expedia). Place in gigantic and they have golf carts to drive you to your room if you don't have a car. This was great until the next morning when I had to wonder around the complex trying to find the office as there were no one around to give me a ride. The restaurant on site were old and the meat was dry but portions were large which doesn't matter because you wont want to eat it.

Homeowner/Vacation Club Type Experience

Posted Nov 17, 2016
Pros: The location is great. The rooms are nice an clean. The studio size we stayed in was similar to Hyatt Place but had the hot tub in the room.
Cons: The having to enter through multiple doors for studio rooms was quite annoying and you can hear your neighbors when they enter at night.
Location: Anything you could ever want to do was nearby and just minutes away and they offered shuttle services to the big parks complimentary.
This was a nice place in a great location with easy access to Walt Disney or Universal. I have stayed in numerous hotels as my job has me travel. If you want the pool and numerous amenities, this is a nice place. The studio room which we got had a microwave, refrigerator, hot tub and was a tad larger than a normal hotel room. I would compare it to a Hyatt Place. Honestly, for myself, I would choose Hyatt Place over this location. I don't care about the big pools and things and have found Hyatt Place to be incredible. You get a great room with a separate sitting area plus the best in room amenities (pay per view movies, etc). We were charged a daily resort fee of 12.99 for internet and towels by the pool and a few other small things which made no sense. Hyatt Place gives you free internet and their free breakfast is like the a full breakfast buffet that can't be beat for free. So, I guess it is what you like as a traveler. If you want the big pool and and stuff this place is great. If you are okay with a smaller pool and prefer the in room amenities, go with Hyatt Place or something similar. Do NOT sign up for the Vacation Club tour unless you really interested into buying into one of those. They will give you free tickets and free breakfast for coming, but you will spend 4-5 hours of seeing the resort (the one you are staying at already), then you are just overwhelmed by sales pitches by multiple people trying to explain why their program is different.

Time share options. but not overly pushy

Posted Nov 16, 2016
Pros: The staff was friendly..but in timeshare mode. The owners model was large two bedroom well laid out but décor and colors dated in browns, greens and dark auburns.
Cons: Having to leave car immediately to be whisked to register for timeshare tour next day. breakfast for masses was awful 1 star: fruit cocktail. powdered eggs and sausage links. Décor is dated and colors not appealing. Rooms not totally clean. Long red hair on new towel. No washcloths first night. Time share presentation was thankfully kept to minimum of 60- 70 minutes and received amenities as promised.
Location: Location was convenient to outlets and International Drive, SeaWorld and downtown.
