Close to Walt Disney World

Cons: Streamline the check in process. The first desk was to check in and get room keys. Then to to desk two to sign up for a sales pitch. Then on to desk 3
Location: Disney
Check in was a nightmare. We did not know this was a time share and a sales pitch would be involved or we would have went elsewhere. We booked for the waterpark experience for our son but when we arrived we found out it was an extra 20.00 per person unless we gave up a couple hours to listen to their sales pitch. This was not mentioned on the website. The lady at second check in counter lectured us because we choose not to carry cell phones and this went on for several minutes. Why is this any of her business?

They will push you to buy.

High pressure time share selling. One hour can easily turn into 4 or 5 hours. they do not like to hear NO! Remember almost nothing is included during your stay. I am certain we will never be staying at a Westgate Resort ever again.

Convenient, close to parks & affordable

Resort has a lot to offer however the 1 bedroom unit was misleading. There's no table & chairs to eat any meals at nor is their any counter space to prepare any meals. Was disappointed with kitchen, especially when our plan was to eat many meals at condo. Washer & dryer combo was a disappointment, it doesn't actually dry clothes it leaves clothes damp. I thought ours was broken but found that not to be the case, was told I could use the laundry facility if I wanted to dry clothes. Other than that the place is great!

Awful. Charged a $59 "resort" fee for nothing.

The "resort" does not include the water park. There is no spa. They said there's a mini golf course but I never found it. No lifeguard at the pool but plenty of drunk people and broken glass. A hot tub full of nasty hair extensions and half eaten sandwiches. And $5 eggs at the grocery on grounds. Plus a super hard pitch to sell time shares to this hovel. Save your money. Go elsewhere!

Me and my husband were there on April 8th 9th and 10th for the most part a hotel is pretty but very outdated and the tub was filthy I had to go and buy my own bleach and scrub it down everything else was nice except for when we woke up the next day we had bite marks on us! And when we went in our room the double doors that lead to another room was unlocked and someone walked in on me and my husband I called security eight times it took them 2 hours to come and lock the door so I had to put a chair against the door for our safety

Worst stay I have ever experienced

I am completely dissatisfied with my trip. We went as a family so we could go to Disney on the website it looked like a hotel and a free water park. You get there and it's a time share with a (free ) waterpark to owners only. Guests are 15 to 20 dollars extra. You have to wait in a hour long line at least to get the water park tickets and then a 45 minute line to speak to a manager after waiting an hour to check in to begin with. After telling the manager how dissatisfied I was he did not do anything. Then 2 hours before check out time we were getting ready and my husband who has cancer was laying on the couch, and all of a sudden no knock on the door or anything and someone key card unlocks our door and parks in. I said excuse me and they slammed the door and I went to the door and they were gone. I called the desk and all the girl said was that is not westgate way, and that was all. We left about 20 minutes later very frustrated. While there I felt over whelmed and as if they are pushing only their timeshares and those are the people they care about as if people renting from there aren't worth their time. I have already told everyone I know to not ever recommend or use this location for their stays. If it would not have said no refunds I would have taken my money else where. I was so upset by the situation I didn't even take my family to Disney as planned.

Big property so lots of people. People coming back late and leaving early for the parks. Not too big of a deal but screaming off your balcony after 10 at a family resort isn't something I enjoy being around. And I'm not sure who but probably a maid knocked on our door and tried to enter before 8 am. Not a fan of this type of "resort".
