Rude staff in Front Desk at Check In

Location: Very Good Location!
Check in was TERRIBLE, the worse supervisor, I have his name but Expedia does't allow to say names, but I reported him directly with Wesgate Resort. They were lost, they said that I don't have reservation. I make the reservation using Expedia and they regret to contact Expedia saying that this was My Problem, so I have to call Expedia by mysefl and no WI-FI available, so I ask please for a guess WI-FI code to make the call, but they said that WI-FI only will be available for customers..... IMAGINE! They made me feel like nothing and by the way I made my reservation with Expedia with a lot of time in advance and it was without any discount

Pros: The size of the unit for the money
Cons: IMPOROVE ON EVERTHING. These units are insanely outdated for the amount of money they normally charge.
Location: surrounded by plenty of attractions
I travel often to Orlando and when I can find a deal on a Westgate property I jump on it. But this will probably be my last stay with Westgate. The location was far off but that never bothers me, however the WIFI service was ridiculous. It just didn't work. Our unit was in a building with 6 floors. Our 2nd night there there the elevator broke! Did I mention out of two elevators NEITHER ONE WORKED!!! So for 3 days we had to climb 4 flights of stairs. Our guest toilet did not work and we had no choice but to call maintenance to our room. OMG with all the money this company makes, I have the hardest time understanding why the everything from the furniture to the decor was from the 90's But my biggest issues was being changed a damage fee because it was reported we were smoking in our unit. After challenging the charge on my bill, management finally sent someone back to our unit to confirm there was indeed no smoke or even smell of smoke in our unit.

No one bothered to tell me were the building I was assigned to was located also was not given a map so I could locate the building on my own they were more interested on making sure I attended their sales pitch also no vending machines in the buildings just don't like having to get in my car and driving to get a cold drink

Good for the time used

Pros: Water park location amenities staff weather balcony
Cons: You could hear the neighbors clearly. We were in a 1 bdrm apt which connects to the larger apt and we were able to hear everything going on next door.

We were misled about an offer.

Location: It was the Orlando location
At the reception desk, we were offered a free breakfast along with an opportunity to earn $75 cash with a $20refundable deposit. Morning of our checkout, we woke up an hour early. Got ready an hour before we wanted/had to leave our room for checkout. When we went back to the reception to claim breakfast and money, we were informed that we weren't eligible for either the breakfast or money. Then had to go to a different area and wait another 20min in line to get the $20 refunded to us. We never would've wasted our time or money knowing that we were gonna be turned away for something that we were never told about the day before.

Warning time share ahead

Pros: Huge property, lots to do, secure gate (one way in and only one way out) mini golf, 14 pools, movie theater, activity center, paddle boats, spa...
Cons: Bedroom window was facing the walkway, people walking by the window while we were sleeping. room also needed to be updated. Construction going on.
Location: Tons of food, mini golf, shopping down the main strip. Only about a 3 to 4 min car ride away.
Be prepared to sit through a 90 min time share offer. Be honest up front and it will go much smoother. I didn't know t was a time share when I booked it, and told them that had I known I would have stayed elsewhere. They had 3 different people talk to us, but in then end westgate understood we were not buying at this time.

Nice hotel and close to wonderful sightseeing

It was very nice and spacious. Wish I could stay for a few more days, but a little costly just to sleep. Didn't have enough time to visit entire place. Other than that it's a very nice place to stay. We went to a few parks and also dine in at their wonderful Restaurant. Food was great and delicious. Will visit more.
