Nice hotel

Posted Mar 6, 2017
This is a very nice hotel, suites are spacious, heated pool and I loved the spa, and tiki bar. The only thing that i was not happy with was that we had a few roaches in the kitchen area and ants in the bathroom.

Nice place close to Orlando attractions.

Posted Mar 3, 2017
Close to Disney 10 minutes. Universal Studios 20 minutes. Good size pool and hot tub to cool off after a day of fun. No breakfast we had a 3 bedroom with kitchen and brought breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed here about 10 years ago and had a very good experience. Decided to try it again. The outside of the building looked brand new however the rooms were clearly rundown and aged. Beds were hard as rocks and the sofa looked like it came from my old fraternity. Staff was very nice! But, the operator of this location has not invested back into the facility or updated the place to make it feel comfortable. Will not be going back.

Good value, nice resort

Posted Mar 1, 2017
Pros: Excellent value and would definitely return. Proximity to Disney and Universal Studios.
Cons: We chose not to have housekeeping while there but the room could have been cleaned a little better for our arrival.
Location: Very close to Disney (10-15minutes) and Universal is only 20-25minute drive.
This place offers a great value and proximity to the parks if that is what you are looking to do. The pool is large and very nice - only 5ft at its deepest so easy to lounge in or swim if so desired. There is also a nice hot tub right in the pool area to that was nice to sit in after a long day at Disney! The unit we had was a 3BR and offered plenty of space for the 4 of us. The in unit washer dryer was great to have and allowed us to save the $40/night cleaning fee as we just washed the towels that we needed to reuse. Getting there was no problem from Orlando Intl Airport but I will caution that if coming in late at night, the entry is a bit dark and makes you question where you are going until you see the actual entrance to World Quest Resort. There is a well lit, manned, security shack to let you in. One side note- there is a large construction project going on right next door so there is a little bit of noise in the morning (trucks backing up, nail guns) mainly affecting building 1 (that is where we stayed). This was only a MINOR inconvenience for light sleepers as our kids never heard the noise! Overall, I would recommend this resort and will look to stay at again if and when we return to Orlando!

Gorgeous hotel and gated in great location

Posted Feb 23, 2017
Pros: Beautiful grounds. The rooms are clean and decorated beautifully. Loved the screened in porch with the patio furniture. Full kitchen , w/d
Cons: more disclosure on not having elevator access for the suites. There are no restaurants on the hotel site except for the tiki bar that closes at 6.
Location: 2 miles from Disney. Lots of hotels and restaurants nearby. Hotel has beautiful large pool with hot tub and tiki bar by the pool.
I booked through Expedia and got a great rate for a three bedroom suite in a gorgeous hotel. When I got there at 6:30 (two hours after check in), I was told that the room wasn't ready. We had driven for 8 hours and were ready for our room. They found the room after I complained. It was a gorgeous end suite and I can't complain about anything with the room EXCEPT that all the suites on the ends from the 2nd floor up have no elevator access. We had to drag our cart to our building and then go up and down the stairs carrying our luggage up to get to the room. I have no idea how a hotel doesn't have access for people who are handicapped or the elderly. It was beautiful but beware if you get one of the end suites that there is no elevator access. Stairs only. When I called to complain to the front desk because i wasn't informed, they just said "oh I forgot to tell you that".

I sincerely apologize that was not told to you about the end units in 3 of our buildings on the second floor. That should have been explained at check in. I will share your comments with our staff. I do hope you return in the future. Sincerely, Jo Bailey Director of Sales

Place is a joke

Posted Feb 22, 2017
I have traveled a lot over the years but never seen a joke of a place like this. had a passport and almost $1000 cash stolen from the room safe. after multiple phone calls to management and getting passed around from one person to another they had not responded back for days. when I was actually able to get someone on the phone they were able to tell me that the room was only accessed once with a key card ( by the cleaning lady) but it couldn't have been her as she has worked there for a long time was the answer I got from management. if you want to enjoy your stay in Orlando I would highly recommend that you avoid this joke of a resort at all costs
