I was really looking forward to staying here based off the photos and amenities, however this is possibly the worst experience I have ever had a hotel.
Some friends and I arrived late, at 2 am, when we were greeted by an irritable woman at the front desk. We go to our room though and realized it smells like pot! We're tired and we just wanted to go to bed, so we figure we'll ignore it. We call the front desk to let them know though, so we don't get charged for the smell. The woman's response is "Well, you'll have to switch rooms then." We clarify that we're tired and don't care, we just want them to know so we don't have to pay some sort of extra cleaning fee. She rudely responds, "Well, if you don't change rooms, we're going to fine you." I couldn't believe this! The appropriate response is an apology for the smell, not some sort of weird accusation!
We go back to the front desk and switch to a different room. There was a large bug on the wall and a giant chunk of wood taken out of one of the closet doors. We didn't even bother complaining about this though, we just wanted to go to bed. We were only there for a night so we weren't able to use the fun amenities like the pool and tiki bar, maybe that would have helped?
**The only reason I'm giving this hotel 2 stars is because after we told management about our experience, they offered us a complete refund and seemed genuinely shocked by what we told them happened. So thank you management for trying to right the wrongs**

Thank you Justine for taking the time to talk to me about what happened during your stay. I'm the manager that you spoke with and have taken care of everything. I do hope that you return in the future so we can show our true hospitality.
