Great Disney Location with nice amenities and food

Have stayed here a few times in the past because of close proximity to Disney attractions. Always clean rooms and great staff. Deep Blu restaurant is always good, sushi menu awesome.

Rooms with King Beds do not have bath tubs

Posted Aug 22, 2015
We booked a room with balcony and king size bed for 2 adults and a toddler. The room has a balcony that is facing the parking garage and it does not have a bath tub. There's no point on paying extra a room with balcony since it's just facing their big parking garage. And, we were told that all of their rooms with King size beds do not have bath tubs, which is an issue for us because 2-yr-old does not like to use the shower. The front desk then offered a another room with 2 full size beds that has a bath tub (This room is a downgrade to what we have paid for. Most hotels with good service would offer an upgrade instead of a downgrade). We were very disappointed with their service.

Hotel bueno

Beautiful Hotel.

Posted Aug 17, 2015
Pros: It was very clean and the staff were helpful and friendly.
Cons: More tea/coffee sachets available. Better staff on the Starbucks counter.
Location: The location is superb. You are in the heart of Disney. Parking was expensive, so this hotel is better if you don't plan to rent a car.
This is a beautiful hotel in the heart of Disney. The staff were friendly and very helpful, in particular the concierges. They would ask how you were enjoying your stay, was there anything that you may need, etc. We were in a double queen room with bunks. The room itself was clean and the kids loved the bunks. I would have preferred a balcony and if I were to stay again I would always request this. We had a lovely view of the main pool which enabled us to see the fireworks at night. We only encountered one problem and that was noisy neighbours. The first night there was banging which wasn't so bad so we did not report it. However, the next night the families occupying both the room next to us and the room opposite were quite frankly a nightmare. The children were loud, and so were the parents. They were in and out of their rooms, banging the doors every time. This continued through to the early hours of the morning with the children watching cartoons until past 2am. The next day we told the management who informed us that had we complained to the desk then they would have issued a first warning and if a second had to be issued then they would have been removed. They told us that the noisy neighbours were only staying 1 more night but did offer to move us. We were a party of six, so it would have been too much hassle to have to pack and unpack for one night. Unfortunately, it did not improve that night and the hotel did call security. I would stay here again.

Not any allergy friend hotel!

Posted Aug 11, 2015
Would not recommend this hotel to anyone with food allergies. They say they can accommodate, but the staff is untrained. Rooms were fine but they smelled musty. Pool area was great! Prices for food, drinks etc too high for what you get. If coming to Orlando for Disney, stay at Disney, getting around is much easier and cheaper.

Fees, fees, and more fees......

Posted Aug 11, 2015
We were well aware of the 'resort fee' that would be included on top of the daily room rate that we booked through Expedia. It was also stated that the daily parking fee was included in the daily resort fee. It is not. Expect to pay an extra $18/day just to park in the garage that is attached to the hotel (more for valet). If that wasn't enough, they even charge you a "parking gate user tax". Is good if you plan on visiting Disney, probably too far if you are going to Universal, especially with all of the current road construction. We booked a room for 5 on Expedia and were advised that a 2 Queen room would be enough. This hotel will not allow a rollaway bed into a 2 Queen room, therefore you must upgrade to a bunk bed room (of course, this is extra as well). Nice hotel, but the fees are crazy.
