Hotel understaffed and rooms not ready @ 9:30 p.m.Posted Sep 28, 2015
Pros: Thought it would be nice and clean since it is Wyndham.
Cons: Service and cleanliness. Another guest put it well, if you need help plenty of people want to work, call a temp agency.
I booked this on Expedia and upon arrival at 9:30 p.m. for check in, there was a line of 7 guests before me upset that rooms were not clean and ready. I waited in line for 55 minutes before I got to the desk, at that time there were still others waiting to speak to a manager because the rooms were not ready. I thought I would try to be easy to please since I had reserved a 2 double bed room thinking my husband and I could each sleep with 1 child (ages 1 and 3). The attendant told me they had a king and a crib available. I told her that would work. She got all of the paperwork and then said their is no crib, but they can bring in a roll away. I told her that wouldn't work. She told me it is no different than 2 double beds. I then asked her which child did she suggest sleeping on the roll away, the 1 year old or 3 year old? She told me that I would then have to wait for the room I originally requested. By the time we got checked in and to the room it was 11:20, with two children in the truck. Once we got to the room, it was not clean. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. With this in mind we had a feeling the linens likely were not clean either.

Great spot.Posted Sep 22, 2015
Pros: Everything, except no microwaves in the rooms :(
Cons: get a working fan in the bathroom.
Location: Lots of dining and nightlife, Ripley's Believe It Or Not around the corner as well as a random gigantic Ferris Wheel (because, Orlando).
First time in Orlando and my visit was for an anime convention happening at the hotel conference center. The whole venue was very well taken care of and there were MANY dining options within an easy walking distance. Staff was very helpful with anything asked. Amenities were as described however the bathroom had no working fan which left the room unusually damp after a shower. We had to open the sliding door as my traveling companion is very sensative to EVERYTHING! Word to the wise if you're staying on a friday or saturday night.... do your best not to drive anywhere as the parking is a nightmare. There was also a 24/7 convenience store that had a great variety of fresh food for that late night snack :)

Perfect!Posted Sep 14, 2015
Pros: Cleanliness, staff, pool, bar, food!
Cons: You can hear in the next bathroom from your own.
PERFECT! We loved everything about this place! We enjoyed the resort part as well as our back patio showing the little lake and ducks come right up to you. We are coming back to stay in this hotel in 2 weeks and will continue to go back here and stay every-time we are in Orlando. The beds are also VERY comfortable. The staff always asked how our rooms and stay was going too. The pool played every age music and delicious drinks! It was also in the middle of International Drive so we were close to all the parks and entertainment. They had a great front lobby too. Check out was the easiest ever!

Floor was extremely dirty. We ordered 2 breakfasts, they only brought us one. Layout is confusing. However, excellent pool and restaurant area. Easy access to all of International Drive from hotel.

Great Orlando hotel, well-priced and centralPosted Sep 13, 2015
Pros: Courteous, professional, helpful staff. Great amenities (pool, outdoor seating, mini-fridge) and nice layout of the whole property.
Cons: Maintenance and janitorial details with paint, rust, uncleanliness (dirty grout, unclean hidden areas). Provide vegan food options.
Location: There's Ripley's Believe It or Not museum, an upcoming nightclub called Mango, lots of restaurants, shops and very close to Whole Foods and highways.
The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The facilities were really clean and well-maintained. The room was very clean, but could have used a little more attention to detail with deep cleaning. There was plenty of parking near my room. Also, they had hired a musician to play caribbean-style renditions of songs near the pool with a steel drum and microphone for singing. I didn't eat at the restaurant near the pool as I am vegan, so I can't really comment on that. Overall, staying at the Wyndham Resort Hotel in Orlando near the I-Drive was a great experience and I would certainly do it again.

It is uncomfortable to find our building and parking lot. The sound from the air conditioner in my room was very loud, so we could not sleep at all. We made a decision to leave the hotel earlier than our plan.

Central Florida Local Overnight Stay.Posted Sep 9, 2015
This room was booked for a quick overnight trip. I have stayed at several Wyndhams of all levels, as usual the staff was wonderful. I have never had a bad experience from checkin to checkout with Wyndham employees. This in my opinion speaks volumes of the type of experience the stay will be. Of all the Wyndhams I have stayed at how wrr this was my least favorite. Althiugh recently remodeled the rooms were very small bare amenities and my least favorite thing always is an AC window in Florida this is always the worst. The AC either doesn't cool enough, is to loud or frezzes you out. The room felt muggy which was a bummer when it came to sleeping, however as per usual the beds were very comfortable. The location however for tourist or people enjoy walking on I drive is ideal. I don't know that I would a book a room at this particular location again but for what we needed it for it was perfect.
