I can’t believe I wasted my points here, nasty, dirty, rooms with ran down furniture. The hallways smells like weed, the male front desk clerk didn’t want to change our room until I asked him if he wanted to see pictures of it. Would not give me enough towels after I told him that our new room was not completed. Housekeeper knocked on my room at 9am in the morning asking if I am checking out. I believe checkout is at 11am. Front desk clerk would not allow us to checkout later.

Firstly, the young lady doing check in was awesome! After that it was all down hill,,, Room condition was not great- the shower handle was not secure in the wall, the bed was on a pedestal that was peeling apart, no duvet cover on the bed, just sheets that were thrown on the bed- I guess they were clean. Breakfast- not many offerings- area was clean but you have to like waffles...

I mean, I only paid $80 a night to stay at this place but I’ve stayed at a lot better places for the same dollar amount. If I was to drive by, I would not have stayed here but did so because I booked it site unseen. The property is rundown, I don’t imagine it being a Baymont hotel anytime after the next month or so. They only had one luggage cart. The other one was broken and you couldn’t even use the first one because it’s locked up in the breakfast room which closes around noon so thank God we had our own cart. The outside looks like it was in the middle of renovation but there’s no work being done and no equipment ever being seen, which makes me believe it’s either falling apart or never got the work done. Our room had a very comfortable bed and a very cold refrigerator but that’s the only positive. The chair was old and dirty, and some dog had scratched up most of the walls. We stayed for three nights because we weren’t sure of our plans. There were three separate reservations. Had I not been lazy I would’ve checked out the first night. At least they were able to keep us in the same room, but don’t ask for a late check out it won’t happen.

The property was nasty and dirty the toilets in the rooms did not work we were changed to three different rooms all were very nasty I complained to the owner the owner did not want to hear it and it was via phone he was on vacation and was very upset he was being bothered while he was on vacation I will be calling code enforcement for all the different violations

Looks good on the website, not so much in real life. Seems like a place that was probably once a very nice place to stay, but now is run down, dirty, and just not at all well-maintained. The room seemed as though it had just been tidied up a little and not really cleaned between guests. The place next door seems much better, and if I came back I'd stay there instead.

Do not stay at this place. It is under construction and the management is unfriendly and unaccommodating. Plenty of nice hotels in the area but, even for the price, this is not one of them. After fighting with the air conditioner most of the night we finally got moved into a room where the AC worked at 2am in the morning. When we asked for a late check out the manager gave us 30 more minutes. Like what??. You can check out my review on Google to see pictures and a more in depth review.

The first room they gave us smelled and had mold on the baseboards. The lady at the front desk was kind and allowed us to look at 3 other rooms. We found a room that was not moldy and didn’t smell. Unfortunately with events going on we were not able to cancel reservation to book elsewhere. We spent time cleaning the room, floor when we got there. Won’t stay there again and would not recommend.

Below average hotel, room was ok. Clean when we got there but was never serviced in our 5 day stay. Had to get our own towels which isn’t a big deal but hotel left a lot to be desired. Outside was terrible and hallway/lobby floors were gross. The pictures are definitely deceiving! If you’re just looking for a place to sleep and shower it’s fine. Nice family vacation place….not so much. Location is good, close to interstate and not far from nice beach!

Upon arrival, hotel was under exterior updates (much different than those pictured in the hotel listing). Thought, maybe interior will be fine. Wrong. Hotel room, had apparent hair dye stained across flooring, on the wall and on the dresser. Also, found stained pillow cases on the bed dressing. Upon further getting comfortable in hotel room, the room had apparent smoke, and or fire damage around light fixtures. Accompanied by a completely missing smoke detector. Not sure how that could be up to state code. Bathroom tub was severely stained and dirty on the flooring to the point we did not wish to shower during our stay. Along with no working lights and faulty lighting/fan in bathroom. Safety lock on bedroom door also was broken off and missing. Providing insecurity in safety at night while sleeping.

First off the pictures DO NOT match what the hotel actually looks like. The rooms are dirty, they smell, and our sheets had stains all over them. We only received 3 pillows for 4 people and when requesting more they said they couldn’t give us any. When asking for new sheets and pillow cases, they told us they couldn’t provide them. The bathroom was so disgusting we couldn’t even shower and it smelt like must. We had bugs flying around our room all night. The beds were very noisy and everytime we moved it would wake someone up. When we requested a refund, they only gave us $30 back from our $270 we paid originally. The outside of the building looks like an abandon prison. Inside, there were ceiling tiles missing and very musty in the halls way. The entire building smelt like smoke and our smoke detector in our room was disconnected. Refrigerator didn’t not work and the water felt slimy. This cannot pass any kind of inspection. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.

This property is dirty and unmaintained. The rooms aren’t vacuumed, the carpets are stained, the bathroom smelled like urine, and there were dead bugs in the tub. The conditions were so bad that we took the hit on this room reservation and got another room at a nearby hotel.

If your just looking for a comfortable bed then ok. Other than that nothing positive to say about this stay. -No microwave, coffee pot, or hair dryer in room (you could see the holes from the dryer that had been removed) *side note they did supply a microwave but no coffee pot or hair dryer as non were available. -Refrigerator cabinet obviously had not been wiped down as there was sawdust from the cabinet door rubbing. -ALL mirrors and TV were obviously wiped down with a dirty rag as there were smear marks all over them. -hallways smelled and hadn't been vacuumed in quite some time, I had originally thought there was some construction so may be the reason but after the third day realized obviously do not care. -Worst Hotel breakfast ever. (comment from another guest) but to agree. waffle machine says out of order. They did have frozen waffles, hard bagles & dry bread available to toast. Half the toaster was broken so did not work. Cereal containers- 2 were empty and the other had very little in. Dirty counters and luke warm coffee. -check out time is 11:00 am if you go out to your vehicle or out period you can not get back into your room after 10am. with out going to front desk to get your room re-Keyed (*Most present front desk personnel that we encountered did not speak english) - First Impression was dirty floors in the lobby- just got worse. Only positive with this stay was bed was comfortable & no bugs.

There were no light bulbs in 5 of the possible six in three lamps. There was no place to hang clothes, as the bracket for this was not on the wall. The hair dryer was not mounted. Not so good. I need a refund. The place was filthy filthy. Towels were dirty, bath tub and shower DIRTY. pubic hair on the shower walls, toilet and on the door. The handles for the water were grimy, and this was the second one they put us in. The first rule the stench was so bad then, as soon as we walked in, I started vomiting. The paint was peeling off, and I had a five year old with me. I demand a refund.

My TV was not working and I had my room changed. The new room had the same issue with the TV, I thought it was the signal. The next day, the same problem with the TV, front desk Ms Nikita went out and beyond to amend the problem. Had my TV running, it was lack of programming. I appreciate her assistance and admire her how she went out of her way to assure my TV was running. Excellent Employee!! Excellent customer service.

Not real impressed with the service or maintenance. Couldn't figure out why I couldn't get hot water in the sink before I found they plumbed the hot and cold backwards. I read the previous reviews just right before arrival to the property and I'm not going to lie, I was worried. However, I can say I didn't experience anything bad. The beds were pretty comfy and staff very accomodating to our needs. Its true that the property needs a little bit more TLC and better housekeeping but it did served it's purpose. If you are looking for a place to put your head down to sleep at night after a busy day without breaking your wallet... this will do.

When you book a room I want that room. I booked and wanted a king room, Sorry we over booked that room ??? gave me a double and told me well its more expensive and we are going to let you have it.
