Bob &Grace are awesome! They are doing tremendous work on this property! Rooms were clean and quiet. Bed was comfortable. We will definitely be back.

This property is just minutes from the hospital and works great for workers that just work the weekends at the hospital and do not live at the lake. Water pressure was horrible and the beds were not the best.

Old and dirty. Stains on towels, and linen. Cracks in the wall. Place needs some TLC. Mostly dirty, i can deal with old bit the room wasnt cleaned very well.

Staff was very friendly. Manager came in less than 2 minutes to get tv on and showed some free features. I liked that office had snacks and food to buy saving us money and not having to get dressed to go out. Room was very clean!, but bathroom needs some cosmetic work ( ceiling had moldy area) but very pleased with room overall.

This place was a disaster, none of the electical outlets worked except for one. The television cable wasnt working because theybdidntbahve the coax cable hooked up.

There are long term residents living there. The place is filthy! Waiting room looks like a hot mess. The residents are everywhere outside. At no time did we feel safe!

This by no means is a 5star hotel but it is a really nice lodge with big rooms and with a porch (not private but no one bothers you) and a good sized pool and a nic3 lake view.

the rooms are outdated...no hairdryer, microwave or hangers for clothes and the dresser smelled musty. Our room door wasn't secure, deadbolt didn't line up so we only had a chain lock to feel safe and the door itself had to be slammed shut. It was a place to get a few hours sleep and warm shower. The lady in the front office was very nice and accommodated us in a different room because what I had reserved isn't what we had when we got there.

Very old hotel in poor shape ,walls dirty and worn thru paint in spots .Pictures not up to date over all if i could have found another hotel I would have. The office people were friendly.

My card they gave me to open my hotel door would not open' i mean the green light on the door would come on acepting it read my card' but the door would not open. I had to ramp it with my hurt shoulder any time entering/ exiting the room. The smell when i entered the room was musky. There was crumbs all over the floor.

Room stinks of cigarette smoke Non Smoking room AC did not work. Was advertised as a lake view was not unless you stood in just the right spot. Place needs a lot of work. Staff did what they could. We had to go to a different hotel because they were not able to accommodate us.

Price seemed to good to be true. I think they are trying to update/fix/renovate but was surprised by multiple things. No pool, had to walk to next resort to use theirs and multiple steps, no trash cans, no phones. Toilets don’t work well, both rooms we reserved looked like the doors jams had seen Better days, nailed shut in places, looked unsafe. Advertised breakfast, not so. Looked like people actually lived there, maybe housing units?? The owner seemed extremely nice but looked overwhelmed. Almost didn’t stay but didn’t have a choice most places were already booked at that point.

They tried 3 rooms and none of them were ready. Hotel was under reconstruction but not complete. Had to go to another hotel.

Sheets and bedding was stained. Towels where stained. Checking in the internet was not working. Place looks more run down than the expedia site showed. Looked more like a section 8 housing project than a motel. Overall i am disappointed and would not recommend. If i could post pictures of this disaster i would.

When I arrived, I had to call the manager because it was outside of the office's hours. He seemed nice, a bit confused about my booking. He did mention that he took over the hotel about 3 weeks ago. When I got to my room, it took me a few tries to get my door open. When I went to lock my door, there was no chain or anything else beside the bolt. I had a hard time locking the door, which did not make me feel safe. The room I was given had two queen beds instead of the king bed, which is what I booked nor could you see the lake from my room. There was no trashcan to be found in the room and bathroom fixtures (ie. the overhead light and fan) did not have any coverings and you could see into the ceiling. The blinds, which were right next to the bed, had two decent size holes in them and there were no curtains cover the window. After about 30 minutes in the room, I did not feel comfortable staying by myself. I ended up leaving and going to another hotel. I did not contact the manager, since I was feeling so uncomfortable, I just wanted to leave.

Couldn’t stay here they where completely book but I received a free upgrade to a nicer hotel directly behind this one! I was very surprised the lobby was beautiful the room was nice the balcony is a plus for smokers!

Do Not Book Hawk's Nest Lodge
Got there no one at the front desk. Called a number and got sent to another location. We Book a newly remodeled room and got sent to an older place. That's right we did not get to stay at Hawk's Nest Lodge where we booked. The place they put us at least the people were nice. The place was old with rust in the sinks and tubs, the ac unit would not turn off all night. Very run down.

If we could give a -5 star we would. It was absolutely disgusting. Stains and hair on the bedding, not clean at all in the bathroom, dried food on the carpet, very old mattresses. The list goes on and on.
