It has a resort feel, but regular hotel rooms. The bar/restaurant has some amazing pizza and great service. Reasonably priced. The ceiling in my room was a little sketchy looking, other than that, a decent place to stay

The bathroom was disgusting. People were arguing in the hall until 1 AM and somebody left their dog in the room and it kept barking.

The shower had peeling paint and looked like it needed to be redone, the toilet was loud and kept running every 5 minutes like the tank needed to be refilled. There was no breakfast in the morning. The only positives were the heated indoor pool and the view from the balcony. I would not stay here again for that price.

The property was very outdated. The area around it seemed cluttered. The actual room was ok, except that the tub was nasty looking from a poorly done repair. I’m not sure anyone would sit in it to bathe. Breakfast started at 8, so my group was unable to take advantage of eating in the morning. The facility was not filthy but only adequately cleaned. I might stay there again but would not if I expected to have bathing facilities.

From the time I stepped onto the property and thru-out my 2 night 3 day staff , the staff was excellent and made you feel right at home. First time attending the pub crawl and I had an excellent time. Will definitely be coming back!

really like going here, i know they are doing renovations, but make sure that floor is done before u put them in a rm. where the tv dont work, the hair dryer didnt work, and the tub didnt drain, we told them about it, and no offer to move us or give us some money back,

New Carpet was nice. But the corners of the walls were cheaply patched. The bathtub was kind of dirty with tub scum. But the Shower had great pressure with plenty of hot water. The bed was very uncomfortable with sagging and weak springs. The sheets and comforter and sheets were clean. The sliding glass door did not latch shut. So it was unlocked the whole time. Breakfast SHOULD BE FREE!!! Lot's of nicer places are free. $13 is too expensive. We went to the restaurant around 10:15am and breakfast ends at 11. The buffet had not been touched since it was all still covered nobody had even been there. I'm guaranteeing the food was trashed after 11 or the employees probably took it home.

Staff was friendly room definitely not new but was well painted and only had minor flaws. For a hotel of its size and age it was a fairly nice place. The room was clean and didn’t smell bad.

Ozark retreat

The cleaning lady was VERY friendly & cared, the 2 young people at the counter when I checked in gave me a room with a toilet which would not flush, the man who manages the restaurant & bar was condescending, and there were only 3 appetizers available at the dinner hour, no entrees. There were men remodeling rooms, after sunset,creating noise, 2 chairs in the lobby had stains which looked like someone had peed on them. The elevator floor was missing chunks of the flooring. The 2nd room I was given had a bathtub/shower with peeling texture & mold near the drain. When I got into bed I found stains on the top sheet which looked like someone had peed on it in several places; I removed it & just used part of the comforter. I could go on…

The place is very run down and everything was dirty. Lobby, elevators, rooms etc. The only good thing was the view of the lake.

I'd go back just for the view!!
We stayed at The Inn at Grand Glaize for a fishing trip. The views from our room were stellar. I spent the majority of my time on the balcony just staring out at the water and watching the sunrises. The actual hotel has seen better days. I'm sure it was once the belle of Grand Glaize and with a little investment capital, hard work, and design tips, it can be the prettiest girl at the dance once again. The service was fine. No cleaning service during our 4 night stay but that seems to be the norm in many places now days. If we needed anything, the front desk staff was always pleasant and accommodating. The room was huge by today's standards although the bathroom was small. It was very quiet, although I did see a large number of cars in the parking lot each morning, so I think they had a good number of guests staying there. The trek to get down to the lower deck to sit by the water or enjoy the pool is steep so keep that in mind but we were there in late September so that area was really not being used much and if you book a Lakeview room, you really don't need to sit down on the lower deck area. We did not take advantage of the on-site restaurant/bar that was open Friday-Saturday of our stay so I can't give any recommendations on that. Overall, it was a nice, relaxing get-away. Nothing fancy. Bed was clean and comfortable. Room was outdated. Prices were fair. But I'd go back just for the view.

Chris did a good job making sure he got as many bikes parked under the roof as he could, bikefest. We had a noise coming from the pipes or something in the bathroom, he fixed it immediately. Brandy in the bar did an excellent job.

Last minute trip
We ask for a king room and got 2 queens. The toilet did not flush unless you took the lid off the tank and did it manually. The condition of the bathroom in general was below standards we felt for this type of hotel. The room in general was not as clean as it should be for guests. Very disappointed with out stay.
