Good location

Pros: Location and amenities were first class.
Location: We chose this as it was near Osaka Castle. It was and easy to get to. big bonus was walking distance to Kyobashi station. Plenty eating in this area,
Nice hotel with lots of facilities and on site restaurant. Room was on the small side but in line with what I expected.

Hotel close to Kyobashi Station (JR Osaka Loop Line) in the quiet Osaka Business Park. Also very close to the Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Subway Line.

Convenient location in nice hotel

The only negative aspects were the bed (which was super small by Western standards) and quite uncomfortable, as well as the noisy room. Yes, the rooms are advertised as sound proof but even if you can't hear the people in the neighbouring rooms, you can definitely hear them on the hallways - loud and clear.

Big hotel close to Osaka castle

Pros: SPA Lounge has amazing massage chairs - worth a try
Cons: Breakfast - this was really a lowlight.
Reception lobby nice, check-in fast and friendly.. Room okay, but small for 4 star-hotel. Bathroom still with shower curtain. Spa (hot spring) interior tired, needs cleaning/renovation (wooden floor, shelves, doors, tiles) Breakfast atmosphere and choice of food disappointing: Plastic trays, plastic table clothes. Limited choice of western food. Even coffee on self-service. Food trays almost empty and not refilled 30 min before closing. Breakfast only up till 10 AM even on Sunday. No comparison to the superb breakfast buffets offered at similar level hotels in most other countries and particularly disappointing for Japan, which is usually a culinary hot spot.

Not so great, and no thanks to Expedia

Pros: Th location, once we found it, was convenient to public transportation and Osaka Castle. Breakfast was good.
Cons: Room was small and crowded with extra bed we weren't allowed to offer our son.
Location: Osaka Castle is amazing. Kyobashi station, while busy and confusing, offers public transportation to the entire region.
We spent an entire week at this location. We arrived by train and tried to follow directions provided on web site but the access to the bridge through the busy and confusing Kyobashi train station was anything but intuitive. After an hour of walking around lost and being refused by cabs (too much luggage), as well as asking people who hadn't heard of the hotel, we figured it out ourselves. When we arrived the desk staff was not accommodating in allowing us to put our adult son in our room for one night even though there was an extra bed, so we had to get him an additional room. At check-in we also tried to explain we needed the room for only six nights, not seven. Because we booked through Expedia the hotel refused to help us in canceling our seventh night. We were unable to access the reservation online in spite of having our account and itinerary information. For the entire week I attempted to get a response from Expedia but still have received nothing but computer-generated replies and one personal response from Expedia Japan that said my request was being forwarded to Expedia US. We ended up paying for a night we didn't use.

Nice hotel close to train station

The hotel was less than a 10 minute walk from the train station (a very easy walk straight along the river). The staff were wonderful, the hotel was quite nice and very clean. The view of downtown Osaka was fantastic, but it was far enough away to be quiet.

nice hotel close to the Kyoto line and castle

Fridely staff most can communicate by English. I enjoyed the Japanese bath, had opportunity to try new way to take shower and spring hot tap inside hotel.

Very short stay so not much to write about. Hotel was clean , staff friendly and efficient. All you need from a business hotel.

It was a nice change from the tiny rooms we've been in since we got to japan. The breakfast buffet was lovely.
