The room while small by North American standards was a good size for Japanese rooms. The room was clean and efficient. The bathroom was a little strange you had to step up into it and it felt like I was in a camping trailer? Small/plastic/crowded with one person. Location was great and easy to access all needed in Osaka. Staff very friendly looked after luggage when we arrived too early. A/c didn’t work well?? Opened the window (was stuck but we got it)

If your in Japan I would recommend a hotel with an onsen but other that that it was good.

We arrived four hours later than expected but the hotel staff sorted us out. The staff were very good, facility very clean and quiet. The location for us was perfect, central, very close to subway but not too close to busy areas. There was good food and shopping very close. The Osaka castle was five minute walk. Awesome.

Great hotel for the price
A little dated, especially with their key system, but the staff is very helpful, the rooms are clean, they provide plenty of towels, robes, and even some bottled water. The beds are comfy and the largest out of all of the places we stayed in japan. For as cheap as we got the room, I would highly reccomend this hotel. Close to the metro and walking distance to Osaka Castle.

The Hotel Sun White is an older hotel in a non-ideal part of Osaka. The rooms are clean and spacious, but the property is old. They do offer a nice breakfast buffet that includes Japanese, Chinese and western foods; and the WiFi is pretty good. The subways are big; if taking Tanimachi4-chome (T23), take exit #1,2,3 to be closest to Hotel Sun White

Good hotel.
Good location. Room standard by Japanese standards (why do they put their double beds against the wall?!). Air con very efficient. I found the bed uncomfy, but otherwise was fine. Shower fantastic.

The staffs are nice and the room is clean. When we stayed at the hotel, there was a tour group living in the same floor. They were yelling across the hallway from one room to another at 5:30AM for 2 days that we stayed in the hotel.

Place is similar to a typical hotel you'd expect. They are fluent in English and the place is really close to the Osaka castle which is a plus. Unfortunately the associated restaurant is not Japanese.

Love the location of the hotel. Very convenient, 5min walk to train station with 2 line. Walking distance to Osaka castle. Nearby have shop easily to get food. Room a bit old but ok for stay. Clean and good for single. Thanks for the small gift for my birthday.

Decent hotel for great price!
Twas our 4th day of our honeymoon and the experience was ok. We had a semi-difficult time locating the hotel and it wasn't too near our preferred train, but had a comfortable stay here. For the price, it was above average. Not much to complain about, not much to rave about; it was a-ok. If there was one thing I could point out about our stay is that it did have some good restaurants in the area; definitely not devoid of things to eat in the area.

Small room - but rooms seem to be much smaller in japan. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Near the subway station and can get train to and from airport. 5 mins walk to Osaka castle. There are near by cafe and restaurants too. Would highly recommend for a cheap and cheerful option.
