Great place in the heart of Namba

Posted May 25, 2017
We had a great experience at the hotel. It is located in a great location. People who are trying to figure out direction: From Namba subway station, take Namba walk (underground) and take B26 exit. It is right there when you exit. The rooms are very spacious and being Japan of course pretty clean! The best thing about the hotel: Its breakfast. Be sure to book the room that includes breakfast (the add-on price I believe is 1600 Yen)

Ideal location, close to subway and Dotonbori

Posted May 18, 2017
Pros: Centrally located near shops, cinema, bars, restaurants and trains.
Cons: International TV channels, privacy in the wet areas.
Location: Everything is within reach.
Small room, low ceilings, no privacy in the toilets - all the bad points. We were two men, twin sharing the room. Not much room with two single beds and the bathroom was small with nowhere to put your toiletry bags. My friend was 6' tall. If any taller would have hit his head in the ceiling. The toilet and bathroom have louver doors, so you can hear and see inside. No privacy. The shower has a low point that you almost hit your head on. No tea or coffee - not really catering for the Westerner, but has green tea with some powdered cream. The hotel only serves breakfast and costs JPY1600 per person, with a selection of Asian and Western foods. No other meals are served. Rooms have a nice 40" TV, but only local TV channels only, and no other language other than Japanese.Pointless if you cannot speak or understand Japanese. So go out an see Osaka. The good points: It is clean and modern and centrally located. All toiletries and bottled water are supplied, the room is made up with towels changed each day. There is a currency exchange, free wi-fi, coffee machine near reception, movies on demand, and the staff know enough English to get by. The subway exit is less than 20 metres from the door (B22). A 7-11 shop is next door, and there are literally hundreds of places to eat within a kilometre. If you are, like us, just needing a base so you can explore the region, then this is an ideal hotel. Most places are reachable by train or subway.

Decent hotel but not really value for money

Posted Apr 25, 2017
Overall experience is average. Small room but we didn't spend much time inside. Will explore others in the vicinity. Location is up a slope hence not suitable if you have a lot of luggages with you.

Nice smaller size Hotel

Posted Apr 17, 2017
Pros: Convenient location to shopping spots and about 10 minutes walk to Numba station.
Nice clean room but little small if you have few large luggage. There's not much room to maneuver luggage if you have them open up. Convenient location to shopping spots and about 10 minutes walk to Numba station. The shower and toilet is separated and done nicely. The hotel is located on the side of one way street, you will need to walk across the other side if taking taxi from opposite direction. To get to Kansai International airport from Red Roof Plus Osaka Namba , the best way is to take Airport limousine bus from OCTA station building by Numba station. I would stay here again on the next trip to Osaka.

Pros: Great Location in which you can go to other Osaka Scenic Spot very easily from Namba Station.
Location: You can walk to dotonbori and kumon market for the great foods for just 5 minutes.
