This hotel served my purpose being close to the airport with regular bus service. It was however very expensive.

The hotel was close to the airport, I used a shuttle to get there which was convenient, room was super clean, internet was fast, however, my only issue is with their pillows, they are not comfortable and made my neck hurt. My flight was early and they had light breakfast and the shuttle does come early as well at 04:32 and 30 minutes thereafter to bring you to the airport. All in all a great experience.

Nice place, looks like it had a refit a few years ago and is now bigger than before, a great modern hotel, beds and pillows are ace!

My opinion on stay at Quality Hotel Gardermoen
Bath towels need to be slightly bigger and better quality. Pillows were small and square No Hot drinks facilities provided in the room. Complimentary food was wonderful and a 5 star rating. Hot Drinks in the lounge was not charged and provided free. Overall the stay was wonderful and only small concerns which I have mentioned above.

We booked a room for one night because we had a very early flight next day. We checked in at 5pm and we were given room 2041. There was no central panel for the a/c unit. All light ( apart from a side bed one) had to be all on or all off. Even the tv was off once the lights were off. No way to contact the reception desk unless you get there. My friend went downstairs and report these issues to the receptionist. He apologizes and offered to change room but we should leave in the next three hours so did not see it as an option. He offered to give us a discount. We checked out at 4.32 am and the receptionist asked my email for the manager to contact me. Never heard from him. I am totally disappointed by the service. I emailed the hotel but I got no reply. Yet Hotels.com gave me a coupon as a compensation for my next trip ( they tried to contact them but the hotel was unavailable)

Dear Ioanna.We are so sorry to hear that you were not happy about our services. We strive every day to get better and appreciate that you do take time to help us in this work.When it comes to your specific experiences our investigations have led us to find explanations for these issues. 1. Unfortunately there is no AC-system locally in the room. The temperature is regulated manually with the wall mounted heater and/or the floor heat regulator in the bathroom. 2. The switch for light at the side of the bed is meant to be switching off all light in the room when going to sleep. If wanting to have some light on, the bed lights can be switched on and off on each module. You are totally right about the tv-switching off at the same time. It is not built to do so, and we found out that someone had switched the contact point of the tv with the lamp. We switched this back after your feedback. Once again, we are so sorry for this poor experience and hope we get to show us from a better side if you ever decide to try our hotel again in the future.

This 3.5 hotel has no safe box , no tea pot , no refrigerate and no microwave , even no cup for hot water in the room. Only two very small plastic cups in the bathroom. The hotel location is awful, nowhere can go. Only transaction is the airport shuttle bus . But the shuttle bus tickets cost about $8 for each ride from hotel to the airport. Then you have to purchase the ticket again from airport to downtown if you want to see the attractions. Hotel breakfast buffet was great. People working there were friendly. I wish the hotel desk could provide customers some information about Oslo ‘s map or attractions…

Hotel was excellent however NOT convenient to downtown Oslo because the airport shuttle costs money and the train from the airport to downtown Oslo took 30 minutes. So quite A costly time waster if you want to see Dow town Oslo.

Very nice modern Hotel. Breakfast buffet was unbelievably goid with eveey breakfast food imaginable. Room was spacious for a euro hotel ( typical US size). I was surprised to have pay parking in an outdoor lot in a rural area, but i guess that's customary here.

The hotel called me the day before stating that they have been suddenly fully booked by the Norwegian military (COVID-related activity, I believe). This happens and is understandable. I was rebooked to another hotel (Thon Hotel Oslo Airport), which was also fine, as the hotel was in the neighborhood and was comparable. However, I was completely surprised by the fact that there is no hotel shuttle. Apparently, it does not run because of the COVID pandemic. It was just a night at the airport for me. Buses are infrequent and you cannot buy your ticket on the bus. I ended up taking a taxi (around $50). The Oslo airport information desk staff was not competent, giving me plainly wrong information about transportation. Some of the Thun hotel staff was so-so, for example not picking up the phone while I was in distress at the airport or forgetting to order a taxi for me the next morning. A funny thing: when you call the hotel and are asked to press 1 for English, you get disconnected :-). All of it not a big deal, one might say, but I was a stranger in the country and a little tired of the trip. I would have appreciated some understanding and smooth booking/calling/transportation process.

This was a quarantine hotel - so there was no shuttle to the airport - only for people in quarantine - and no services after 9pm, also no cleaning during the stay. Breakfast was super average and i was uncomfortable sitting with all the people doing quarantine. The price was too high for the loss in enjoyment of the services

Airport hotel without transport to airport
The hotel was used for quarentine and this should have been communicated before booking. Although the hotel claimed that a separation was made for other guests, this did not seem effective. The person at the reception was very helpful but I was disappointed that transport to the airport was offered in terms of booking a cab for another 285 nok. There was nevertheless a regular local bus that could be used. Although I paid through hotels.com I still have a cost reservation in my creditcard after more than a week.
