Our two night stay
The staff were friendly, we should of had a queen size bed and got 2 singles. With mattress toppers that slid over the sides. Made it difficult fir myself to get in and out of bed. The house keeping knocked on to clean at turned 16.00hrs which is much too late. And even tho there was many good choices at breakfast it was poor quality. Opted for hot breakfast on both mornings and all of it was cold. Wish we didn’t book it and gone to a cafe instead. I’m sorry to say we were disappointed, kind of spoilt our trip

Disappointing Front Desk Staff
We had ordered food to the hotel and, after experiencing a delay getting back, the front desk staff threw the food away, referencing a vague hotel policy we were not made aware of beforehand. When we expressed our disappointment and asked for them to make this right, we were offered free breakfast for the remainder of the stay (2 days). Roughly 30 mins later, we were pleasantly surprised to be offered a 10% discount on the stay as well. Unfortunately, at check in, this was not honored due to our reservation being placed through Hotels.com. When we asked what they planned to offer in the alternative, we were told they would not do anything for us, and they took no responsibility for the misrepresentation of their staff.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Some of the more recent reviews did concern us before we traveled, but we did not need to worry. We arrived early for check in and were allowed to check in early when joining their reward scheme for free. Our room looked recently renovated. It was stylish, modern and clean. The beds and bedding were incredibly comfortable. We were also lucky enough to have a view over the city. Beautiful. Staff were all incredibly friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is great and we enjoyed a meal in the ground floor restaurant. The view from the bar is super. The location right by the palace gardens and the history museum really can’t be beaten. A massive plus is that the airport bus stops right outside the front of the hotel. It really couldn’t be simpler. We are already planning our return visit.

Nice location but understaffed
The hotel has a very nice location and it’s overall nice but it was extremely short-staffed. Check in and any front desk lines were long at any hour and our room only got serviced twice during a five night stay, the 2nd cleaning we had to request multiple times.

The Radisson Scandinavia Blu was a fine hotel, but they do not answer their phone after 5pm. I needed to inform them of change in my plans due to the rail system declaring Force Majeure and cancelling most service due to flooding. When I did arrive they claimed to always answer their phones, yet when I called again it had the same message, "We are unable to answer calls after 5pm."

Nice enough hotel but nothing stellar. Staff were pleasant and helpful but checking in and other tasks in reception seemed to take forever. Ground floor area looks pretty swanky but the rooms are a bit tired. To call our family room “Deluxe” was a stretch. Good location right next to the palace and national theatre station. Oslo is great.

Beautiful Downtown Oslo !
Nice hotel with really - nice Rooftop Lounge, and good downstairs restaurant. Good room and good location too. Since their Front Desk is operated 24 hours the only thing we didn’t understand is why their gym 🏋 was not also available 24 hours a day. Then we have given this property a top - notch rating .

Pricing for the 26 north bar was excessive as I was charged 340 kroner (about 35.00 euros) for a gin and tonic… when questioned at check out, they had no details to confirm or explain the charges… the bar on the 21st floor was 1/2 the cost for the same drink-which was consistent with all other areas of Norway… they took advantage of the travelor in my opinion.

I really enjoyed the breakfast, helpful staff and room overall. My only gripe was with the poor air conditioning of the room which barely worked which made my stay slightly uncomfortable.
