Handy for the city centre and public transport

Pros: The location is good, and the view from my room on the 19th floor was fantastic.
Cons: The WiFi needs a lot of improvement - it's slow and unreliable. The noise from the lifts needs to be addressed as they can be heard in the rooms.
Location: The Royal Palace and its park are a few minutes walk from the hotel. Nationaltheatre station is a five minute walk away, across the park.
The location of this hotel was great, with City Hall, the Nobel Peace Centre and the ferries a 15min walk. My room was on the 19th floor, and the view was fabulous. But, the floor layout is very open, with rooms (including mine) opening directly from the lift lobby area. This meant the lift motors could easily be heard in the room, a noise that I found disturbing. Also, I'd booked this hotel because it advertised free, fast WiFi but the WiFi was slow and frequently dropped out - I wanted to stream music from MixCloud and the WiFi couldn't handle it.

Central location

The hotel is located in the centre of Oslo. Comfortable, great breakfast and comfortable room. Ideal for sightseeing the city.

Great location, lovely views, fantastic breakfast

We had a lovely stay on our first trip to Oslo. The hotel was close to the station and having requested a room on a higher floor with views, we were certainly not disappointed. We were given a great room overlooking the fjord, with the palace on one side and the theatre and national gallery on the other. Thank you. We didn't get to use the pool or sauna as there was so much to see and do in Oslo. We'll have to come back.

Great location

The location is perfect, but the family room was very small. Another area of disappointment was the loud guest in adjacent rooms. The staff and aminities were perfect.

Good experience

We had a good experience overall. Our room was not clean enough so I asked for it to be cleaned and it was done really well. Food was tasty and the summit bar lovely. Pool is a bit small but super clean and well stocked with towels.
