The first room we were assigned had a faulty lock, and we were given a far more spacious room. The first we'd been given would have been tight. The light was great, and some might have minded the streetcar rumble, but it didn't go late into the night. The one radiator in the room tried hard, but it was quite chilly, though the duvets were adequate for the cold. My daughter, in a second room, noted blood on pillows, a marker for a bedbug infestation, but none appeared to be resident during our 3 night stay. Excellent sized elevator handled 3 and ample luggage, quite out of the ordinary. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. A comfortable lounge on the main floor where you could linger without pressure to buy drinks - romantically lit, so bring your booklight. Steps away from good Indian and Italian restaurants, the hourly airport bus, and all sorts of public transportation. Very close to palace and gardens.

The hotel is well located. But, interiors are pretty dated. We had a good room, and a nice breakfast spread. But there was a sour end to our experience. I left the luggage in the luggage room and dropped by later that day to pick it up. There was nobody at the reception and another guest was also getting late. I made the FLYBUSS just in time (with 2 minutes to spare).

Well-located hotel with excellent breakfast
The hotel has excellent location, major sights are within walking distance or few stops by tram. The breakfast is a real feast, a good selection of warm and cold dishes and perfect service. All staff are professional. The only negative point is the size of the room, even the bed is narrow for a couple. Another minor problem, there are only Norwegian, Swedish an Finnish cannels on TV.

Friendly hotel, great breakfast
The room is small and basic, yes, but there are many plusses that made us satisfied with this booking: genuinely nice staff, great location (tram stops across the street with the Central Station only 10 minutesride away, or an easy 10-minute walk to Nationaltheatret Train Station through the palace park), and above all amazing complementary breakfast (wide selection and a mountain of smoked salmon every single morning!). This is our first trip to Oslo. Pleasurable stay.

Check in was great with English speaking staff and very helpful. Room was a twin with tea/coffee and beds were comfy . Bathroom was small but shampoo/body wash Inc . Breakfast was fantastic and I would give it a 10/10 . Hotel is a 10 min walk to centre

The place is rather run down and the rooms are being renovated. Our room was not. It may be better with a different room. Room looked nothing like the photos. Breakfast was also very disappointing. Good variety, but poor quality. Having stayed with other hotels, this was the worst (and most expensive).

In overall it was okay, after a late check-in I took a shower in the morning but the shower was clogged and I couldn’t take a shower. I informed reception and they fixed while I was away.

Central location
The hotel was very centrally located to access Central Oslo's major sites, like the Royal Palace, Aker Brygge, and Karl Johans Gate. We liked that our room had a balcony, even though the view was nothing special. Wifi signal was weak and sporadic. Breakfast was excellent.

It was okey. I realize this is corona times, but i dident feel they had many creative ways to solve issues related to that. The breakfast was very simple and more or less identical each day. The staff was very friendly, polite and professional, but there was a certain "mood" to everything. Very somber! The staff was the best part of the experience. The hotel itself was a little old fashioned i thought. No climate control in the room. Had to use wall mounted ovens that had to be turned up and down to keep a good temperature. Got real hot at night and had to get up to adjust. No real nightstand, and generally a strange layout for the room. The bed slid away from the headboard at night, the TV was small, the desk was small, the sockets where weirdly placed, and other small things made this a very OK experience. Oh, and the wifi sucked. My 4G phone service was 3 times faster...

As everyone has said before. Good location+price. Great Breakfast,minus the awful fried eggs. Rooms are good, dependant though on what you get. There is a bar...but it is not a social bar,no beer pumps,and no one in the lounge...in fact the fridges are empty....so it's not a Bar!! Reception....v.Good. Rooms clean,though corridors need cleaning,as does the lift floor. Dated,needs a spruce up
